I'll relate my own experience with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption yesterday as follows:
1.The Controls
The controls seemed slightly confusing at first, but i was able to adjust in about 10 minutes of playing it.And they were quite good. You can do all of samus's actions without having to temporarily switch fingers to other buttons for most actions(visor and missles were the only things I had to take my finger off of fire button for).
In your left hand, you had the nunchuk attachment, which you strafed with, locked onto objects/enemies with(or not,if you would rather just manually aim full time),switched to morphball form with, and used the grappling beam with.To use the grappling beam, first you had to lock onto a target, then fling your arm forward(as if throwing a lasso)then pull your arm back to either pull away an enemy shield or debris that had fallen(i didnt get a chance to test using it as a mode of transportation).
In your right hand, you had the wiimote itself. You aimed with this arm by pointing it on screen, and to turn you moved the pointer to the edge of the screen(moving it too far in a direction past the screen resulted in the aim going a little crazy for a moment). You still fire with the A button,to use missles you push down on the d-pad.The scanning visor was either right or left on the dpad,i cant remember which >_<.You had a button on the bottom of the wiimote that let you jump as well.
2.The Actual Level That Was Played
I was originally going to go straight for the Ridley boss fight demo, but then i was told you just get thrown into the battle with no clue of the controls. So i instead opted for going to the first area in hopes of getting used to the controls there, then on my second time fighting Ridley.I never got a second playthrough however.
It started out with me coming out of Samus's ship(which looks slightly dif than previous ship looks)and had a chance to shoot 4 barrels of sorts that popped up endlessly to get the hang of aiming a bit.I then moved on to the first door. The first door had 4 spots i had to shoot to open it,and i did so. I then came to a locked door which had a terminal next to it.I scanned the terminal which then stated i had to open the lock manually. To do this,i walked towards the manual lock, pushed and held the A button to grab it,had to pull my arm backward, then turn my arm 90' degree's to the right, then push my arm forward to put the lock back into place. It was a pretty cool thing.
After going in for a bit i came to a area that i had seen 2 other people pass without looking with the scanning visor(actually,i was one of the only people who even used it when it was ans wasn't needed).I scanned a computer terminal of sorts, and it opened a secret hatch that required ball form to get in to it.This was a maze of small sorts, which had air valves that shot pressured air out which blew u whichever way it was facing. Some of these were meant to help you, whereas others were meant to impede you. After going through all of this i got a missle upgrade ^.^.
When i came back out i followed the path and had to fight some enemies. These enemies came in groups of 4 and 8 about and had reflective shields up most of the time.In order to kill them, you had to shoot them when thier shield was down.Thier form of attack was slowly moving towards you in an attempt to explode when the got close enough to do so.I killed the first group, but the 2nd group some managed to hit me.
After that,i came to a area i had to use ball form to roll in. But,it was blocked by some panels. To remove the panels,i had to use the nunchuk to activate the grappling beam(check controls on how to do this). After doing so i rolled into a new area. This area required me to bomb jump up to a spot, but shortly after the spot i bomb jumped to the walls were set to a timer on when to shove out.Basically i had to time till right when the wall came back in then quickly roll across before i would get shoved out.I managed to do so,then opened the door to the next room.
This room was more of a platform with crates and no walls(if you fell off you took 10 damage and were placed on the platform again). So i fought the space pirates (which were easy enough, since i had finally gotten the hang of the controls by now). Then 2 flying space pirates came; These proved to be fairly more challeging for a few reasons:
1.They were flying, and i had to aim up high, which i hadn't had to do till then.
2.These space pirates could break lock on every time they swerved fast(yes, lock on exists but alot of enemies can break it from what i hear, and these were one of the ones that could)
3.The very swerving that broke my lock made my shots miss.
I managed to take them out after about a minute or two, then thier ship that had dropped off the space pirates came.I could lock onto it,but the lock on just stayed at the invulnerable part of the ship. The ships only vulnerable part was a front vent-like looking area.So i shot at that manually until i took it down.
3.Conclusion
And that's basically my story about my experience with MP3:Corruption. It was very fun,and i can't wait to actually own a Wii. The other games i played were fairly fun as well, but MP3 is what really seemed to shine above the others at the Nintendo Fusion Tour.
P.S:Rawr.
Cool. I'm getting a Wii when it comes out. I've already got the money set aside.
Well atleast you took the time to post something here. :P
Lucky. I wish I could play with a Wii. D:
I've had a Wii for 19 years.
Damn, that sounds like fun.
How much will a Wii cost, and when is the release date?

yeah, valters right, its 249.99(US dollars) and is currently set for release on november 19th. Sadly, they pushed metroid prime 3 back to a early 2007 title rather than launch title T_T
Yay! That's not bad.
