Title: MII GOTZ A WII!
Kaden - October 13, 2006 05:05 PM (GMT)
Well, yesterday gamestop announced that they would be reserving the systems this morning when they opened their doors. This morning, got to the store at 9:30, got the second to last wii slip (the store was handing out slips so people didn't rush in front of people who got there first). So now, on november 19th I'm getting a Wii with all the free stuff.
Just wondering, who else is planning on getting one?

what free stuff?
and I'm getting one as soon as they have a store deal where you can get an extra controller or something free. doesn't usually take long around here, plus Christmas is close, so they might have a sale afterward

I thought you meant a preorder bonus or something. everyone gets that much

Do I want one? HELL YES! Will I preorder one? Nope. Why? Because of one simple fact: Mass manufacturing fine tuning. Look at the DS. My bro got a 1st series one. Its broken to all hell, physically wise. I got a 4th gen blue. Its pwns. Hard. There are bound to be fixes that are needed, the 360 has em too. I'll just wait and buy a perfect one XP

Yeah me too. (more like I couldn't preorder one >_>)

I bought a DS on launch day, it still works and look exactly the way it did when I got it. No scratches, not broken, nothing wrong. Same with my gamecube and xbox, all just fine. Anyway, I'm not as hard on my stuff as some people. As for...

I saw an announcment saying that not long after launch nintnedo will drop the free 'Wii Points,' and drop Wii sports, making it a separate game, thus allowing them to drop the system price $25 or so.

Hmm.... so, if they drop the overall price 25$ or so... You may as well just buy the game used and get the system cheap.
LoZfan03 - October 14, 2006 08:14 PM (GMT)
excellent, that way I can get a cheeper Wii and mooch off my friends' Wii Sports if I feel like it

I went to EB games yesterday to reserve one and they were all out. T_T I'd kill a man to get a reservation. @_@
Alex - October 15, 2006 08:02 PM (GMT)
I'd fucking kill anybody for one.
Kaden - October 15, 2006 08:07 PM (GMT)
Of course, they're already selling Wii sports separatly for $50. So if they don't drop the price, I'm sure their plan is to keep Wii sports open for people who buy used Wii's.
