Title: Ahhggg! >:(
Kaden - November 12, 2006 10:17 PM (GMT)
I'm starting to freak out. I reserved a Wii, but there were 7 or 8 people in front of me. I'm afraid I won't get one if I don't go by 9:00 because they said not all people who reserved thier's will get one on launch day... freaking out. :(
Blademastersupreme - November 12, 2006 10:24 PM (GMT)
You better camp out thenh mah friend. GET YOUR WII!
Kaden - November 12, 2006 10:26 PM (GMT)
But I dun wanna. It's gonna be like, 30 degrees, and the people who camp out are freaks. (I know, I camped out for a few ours to reserve it. >>)
Alex - November 13, 2006 12:49 AM (GMT)
You'll get it; don't worry. ^_^
Kyrillos - November 13, 2006 01:06 AM (GMT)
Illiterate...when you reserve something, they basically say that THEY will HOLD the system for you until you can get it.
Kaden - November 13, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
But the ticket says, "This ticket garuntees you a system, but you may not recieve it on launch day."
Kyrillos - November 13, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
Well, you should've reserved it at a more reputable dealer then.
Kaden - November 13, 2006 01:12 AM (GMT)
Gamestop. >> Most reputable place here.
Lades - November 13, 2006 01:14 AM (GMT)
Wow. Launch day is when again?

I could wait until Sunday morning. Everyones at church then.
I Have a Sandwich - November 13, 2006 02:03 AM (GMT)
"Give us your money to get one on launch day. Maybe you'll bget it, depends on how we feel."
Thats such a load.
Kaden - November 13, 2006 02:04 AM (GMT)
Yep, that's what I'm hoping doesn't happen.

The eight or so people in front of me were all employees that had been there since the day before. Apperantly they just can't reserve beforehand if it isn't thier shift. :P
Blademastersupreme - November 13, 2006 07:51 PM (GMT)
Well if they can't guarantee a system on launch day, they shouldn't be giving out RESERVATIONS. That's kind of what those are for....

Reservations techinically means you are linked to one in the store, not that you'll get one at launch.

I'm pretty sure that the EB games here gives you a Wii on launch day if you reserve it. They probably say that on the ticket on the off chance that for some reason they don't get all their Wiis, or one is damaged or something to save their tails in court.
Kaden - November 16, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
Probably. Plus, I just read something online saying that a store only has enough for thier preorders, and that's it. So I should be fine.
Edit: And something that made me laugh.
