I think it is way too expensive even if it is going to be the best machine out there. People are so desperate for it too... My friend's dad is gonna get one and sell it on eBay, and my brother looked on there and the highest bid on one is $2,550. :blink: I don't think it's worth that much.

It'll sell. There's too many fanboys out there for it not to. It won't sell too well at first, but as soon as cheaper parts become available, which they will, it's happened with every system and it's part of the reasons prices drop, of course there's supply and demand, but cheaper parts ups supply and decreases demand.
Oh, and I definitely won't be buying it for a couple of years... same as the PS2. I'm not gonna buy a video game system that cost more money than my guitar.

I doubt I'll get one. I can see perhaps, all of my close friends and I sharing a dorm and perhaps buying one collectively at college, maybe.

I love the 'I'll wait til it's cheaper plan', like they actually think it'll ever be down to a reasonable price.
I'm sorry, but paying anymore than $300 for video games of all things is just dumb.

Waiting until it is below $300 will be around next-gen or even never most likely. I'll get it when I find out the problems with all the systems, and that PS3 would have to be the clear winner. I need to see if blu-ray (I think) or HD-DVD will be more popular and see if it affects PS3 sales or the games being made on it, etc. Won't wanna get stuck with something like a gamecube and play all Nintendo games. <_<

I want one, I saw the game 'Resistance: The Fall of Man' and it rocked. It's to expensive though, I'll wait til I get another job to get it.

I'm gonna go for the Wii.
I like the idea of being able to aim my own guns in games like RE.
Zombie hunting will be a -hell- of a lot more fun.
