Lasagna on thanksgiving? BLASPHEMY!! Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, corn, and all the other good things in thanksgiving dinner!! When did Lasagna become a thanksgiving meal?
Lades - November 28, 2006 12:19 AM (GMT)
Italian is not Thanksgiving. Turkey, beer, and mac'n cheese is.
Puff - November 28, 2006 12:56 AM (GMT)
I don't like bird. But we traditionally have something different each year. This year just happened to be a new Lasagna recipe. T_T Now that I think about it, though, we had no pashed potatoes and gravyyyy.

For us vegetarians, yes. It was all Indian food for me. And you really could use the ten pounds. What's your BMI now? 18? :P
Happy Thanksgiving.

Indian vegeterian food rocks. Actually, Indian food rocks, I'm not sure which I like between the northern and southern cuisine.
Or are you talking about native american indian sorta food? I haven't had much of that, honestly. A few things with american indian "elements" and stuff in NYC.
I guess blue corn chips are kinda indian'ish.
My thanksgiving was actually...pretty mediocre. I mean, the food was ok, but normally it's really good on Thanksgiving. Which is odd, because the last time I was over at the house of the hosts (semi-distant relatives who we see a lot), and in general, they make really good stuff. But the dinner on thanksgiving was pretty average, even the turkey. And there was no gravy, no stuffing, no cranberries (we live in NJ!), and no mashed potatoes.
I mean, it wasn't bad, but simply in terms of fulfilling the qualifications of a traditional thanksgiving meal, it phailed undeviatingly from course to course with the exception of the pumpkin pie. Which coulda used some sorta topping...I mean, was good, but not excellent.

Indian food is very good. It's nice when your a vegetarian being able to order more than one dish at a restaurant.
