Well as most of you guys know already winter has come. The streets are filled with ice and snow so dirve carefully (To those of you who drive.) The reason I am bringing this up is because I almost got into a car accident thanks to the snow. now with all seriousness be very careful when you drive and fastend your seat belts, thenks.

Yeah, and make sure that when you get into the car to drive, you're REALLY high and you just downed a keg. Don't worry, the two will balance each other out.

Can you ever treat a topic correctly, this is a serious topic and once again you go on and spam it with useless and unhelpful input.

I don't drive, yet... Snowy/icy roads make me uneasy. And so do "snake roads" (doesn't matter what time of year it is)...
But you're alive, Kakashi. That's GREAT. ^_^

There's been snow on the ground for a bit. It comes and goes, so we're pretty used to it... but today was the first time I ever drove in the snow! :o
Drive carefully. ^_^

Definitely...Even though the schools close if a flake of snow doesn't melt the instant it touches the ground in the northwest most corner of the county....

Seriously though guys, remember the trick with the pot and beer. Works wonders.

Heh, not my dad. See, he was a cabbie back when we lived in New York, so on good days he drives everywhere at least 55. Bad days, 75.

Dear Driver's Ed Booklet from State of Illinois,
Today, on a Forum I go to, someone quoted you! They said that if you don't drive carefully on icy rods, you could die. Thanks for teaching this to me ahead of time, when I was a year younger, Drivers Ed Booklet! I'm safer now, because I've only fishtailed 17 times in the past month.
Sincerely,
Aien.

I don't drive to much anyway. I take advantage of transportation by train. Most people who take the train in my town are going to Penn Station, Hoboken, or Newark Broad St, so the conducters don't bother collecting cash payment until after a certain number of stops. Which means I don't have to pay any money if I catch a train at the right time.
It's also nice going into the city because there's a much higher chance you'll bump into someone you know, and if you don't there's plenty of things you can do on the way (read and such). Having a car in the city is a liability anyway, garage parking (often all that's available) costs an exorbiant sum.
The only time I drive regularly is at about 5:10-20 AM, on my way to swim practice, and then at about 7:10 when I go to home/IHOP/other breakfast place. Then I drive it back home and walk to school, since it's only about 4 or 5 blocks from my house.

I realize this isn't on topic...but now I want to get pancakes in the morning...
I think I'm gonna get up a lil earlier.

So far we've only had a light dusting of snow. No ice on the roads - thank God for that. There has been a lot of wind though, 25+ mph... which presents its own challenges.
They had a major road shut down a couple weeks ago because a semi got overturned by the wind.
Winter is annoying for driving. (Enjoy your pancakes, Lades.)
