Title: Mr. Blast!

Puff - December 14, 2006 08:45 PM (GMT)
Alright, so come about the middle of 7th period, it was hectic at school. We had a bomb threat. The freshman and sophmores were freaking out. Some of the juniors and seniors were, too.

A teacher had come on the announcements saying something about "Mr. Blast." And Blue started giggling, "There's a teacher named Mr. Blast?" I wasn't really paying attention, so I assumed she heard wrong and I corrected her with "Mr. Ghast." He is a teacher. Then all of a sudden, this really annoying kid comes up to our table, "Hey guys, someone is getting killed, there's going to be a lock-down." Then the fire-drill goes off and everyone is in an uproar. Someone called in a bomb threat. Yada yada..

They haven't said anything about "Mr. Blast" or "Mrs. Dangerfield" for like, three years. So I'm sure everyone forgot about those codes. Especially the freshman and sophmores, since they probably never heard it before.

Anyways. Have any of you had a bomb threat?

Not really a bomb threat, but we did have to evacuate the school building once, because
a small fire erupted in the chemistry lab.

Oh wow.

Yeah. Something happened like that before, too. Except, some girl put a lit cigarette in the garbage can in one of the girls' bathrooms. Caught fire. That was a fun, cold stay outside.

Never. Thank God.

My school gets bomb threats all the time. Suburbians are bored it seems.

Well... There was a rumor of a bomb threat on a ferry last year, but that turned out to be nothing. Someone pulled the fire alarm during a science fair once, too. Nothing much happens around here in way of that, though.

Yup. Same "problem" if you call it that. Well, it hasn't happened so much at my high school, but we got bombarded by something like 8 during my 8th grade middle school year if I remember right.

I still remember my history teacher telling us to "go to our usual places".

Eh, there've been a few around here, but our school district has so many sucky things happen to students, most people are more mature than that. However, there was a kid who brought a knife to school a few weeks ago. This kid that's on varsity wrestling (damn good for a freshman here, we have people win state every year) snuck up behind him and took him down. It was actually quite amusing.

Edit: Oh yeah, and the wrestler got ISS for assault. Shows how flawed the school district can be.

Every school I've been in since 7th grade has had at least two bomb threats. So four schools. Freaky eh?

Lades - December 15, 2006 04:10 AM (GMT)
Yep. The Senior's gift to the school, one day home.

One, ever.

Was that the one at M. Bay? If so then yes there was only one once.

'Ivan - December 15, 2006 01:07 PM (GMT)
Aye, that one. Kinda stupid how close the buses were to the school.

Which reminds me, a guy came to our school with a handgrenade once. After the police (and a few soldiers, god that was awesome) had checked it a few times, they figured out it was a dud. The guy is a friend of one of my friends, so I kinda knew him too.
