Title: Strawberries.

Bio II was exciting today. We extracted DNA from strawberries, It was so freaking awesome. I never realized that we eat so much DNA.
I also learned today, that the human body has OVER 100 TRILLION cells, and in each one of those cells there is 1.8 meters of DNA.
If you were to connect all that DNA, it sould go from the world to the sun 600 times (but, I'm sure most people here know that).

I've always wondered who takes the time to calc these things. Maybe it's all a government plot to get the american people to construct 600 ladders per person of DNA from us to the sun while they take over the economy and our minds and freedom and stuff.
But I prefer imagining a set of intestines fully elongated to the 23 ft or so length they generally span.

I find school entertaining, not nessarly because of that though. :P
We're having to code the mRNA and figure out what each of the amino acid effects the proteins the make, I just copy or something then >_>

(So make up Jurassic Park already.)
Have fun with the DNA. Building blocks of life and all that.
