Well, shortly after getting a Wii, I immediately picked up Trauma Centre: Second Opinion, and it's now among my favorite games ever. The use of the Wiimote is incredible, and the GUILT are all very unique and challenging, plus the extra chapter and operations(and character, though it's not all that secret) make it even more lengthy (apparently compared to the DS version, which I haven't played). The storyline and almost real-life situations of a doctor and surgeon are interesting and realistic (besides the GUILT, but that's another story).
Atlus continues to make some of the best games I have ever played, so I was wondering if anyone else owns or has played this game before, and their opinions on it. Post away. ^^
I'm not getting a Wii for a long, long time the way things are going now.
I am however, a fan of Under the Knife, which is the DS version you haven't played. It's tough. I'm stuck on the 44th and last operation of the game, last I picked it up. Don't want to spoil by accident, so.
I will tell you if you ever pick up the Under the Knife, Triti are a bitch. I haven't played enough of Second Opinion to remember it off hand, but in Under the Knife you have to scalpel-cut the pieces out after you remove the thorns.
And if a thorn grows back and you remove it you have to cut the whole goddamn thing again.
I got through a bit of the game, but then my bro left for college (it's his DS).
I didn't find the story all that interesting but the gameplay was pretty fun, and it's one of the few games where I tended to screw up a lot. I had more problems with it than Devil May Cry 1 OR 3 on Dante Must Die mode, which are considered hard by the standards of most gamers.
I still liked more typical games like Phoenix Wright and the two Castlevania games more, though.
EDIT-And level 1 cap hard mode can be a real bitch in Portrait of Ruin. I haven't even tried on OAA yet, but if I can do that I'll be very happy.

Not in terms of story, but the gameplay is pretty ordinary. Like sam and max and stuff like that. Go to different places, pick up things, talk to people. The courtroom is text based puzzles basically.
