Title: Time Change!
Severian - March 11, 2007 08:26 AM (GMT)
Set your clocks forward. It's probably too late if you have something to do today, but whatever.
EDIT-FEW time needs to be advanced an hour as well.

The time god Chronos/Janus/Khronus/Saturn/Aeon/Father (THATS RIGHT FATHER!) Time (but not Chronus! no not him! he's just titan of time, not actually the personification of it, much like apollo is the god of the sun but is not actually the sun - that's helios) decided to leave symbolic messages for humanity. Basically, winter is slower and stuff so you set the clock back one. You set the clock forward in spring to represent things becoming more busy and stuff. That's the reason why you lose an hour of sleep.
He decided to totally blow off the southern hemisphere, though; they have an hour back during the summer, IIRC, b/c they have summer when we have winter and whatnot.

The axis of the Earth compared with the sun ... with different seasons and such.
