Why is it when sammich moves a topic there's no link in the forum the topic was moved from. But when Reyde does it the topic in the old forum will re-direct you...

Because I choose for it not to, while Reyede chooses to. I haven't talked to him personally about it, and he hasn't said anything, but I just think it clutters up the forum it was in originally.

When a mod moves a topic, they get a choice to add a "moved" link in the old forum. As Sandwich said, it sorta clutters up the forum, so it's not really needed for small, insignificant topics. For the bigger topics, leaving a clue as to where the topic disappeared to helps for confused members.
