Usually, new forums just drives me very nervous. Even if the intro topic is enough for me, I always don't have the guts to post on a few topics. It would be the same feeling as a guy who just barged in a conversation and talked out like he feels and hopes to be involved. I don't hate you guys, but I'm afraid of you guys. This usually does this to me, usually why I leave forums for reasons not known.

So I took a few hours of lurking and yeah. I posted the thread here, thinking it might be spam from a noob like me. Eh... I'm wondering if you ever have this feeling. The feeling of being introduced in a community of members with 2,000+ posts.

And of course, this community seems rather... well... let's say I don't 1337 speak...

Now posting this makes me feel more noob.

I'm happy to go onto the interent, playing Chrono Cross for a week is driving me nuts. Although it's really addicting to find all the characters.

Hey, Kiddo! No worries! We're all pretty laid-back... most of the time... most of us. There are periods where we're all at eachothers' throats... But those spuradic moments only last about 2 to 5 months. No. I'm kidding. But some can last for a while. But yeah, usually we're cool, just chillin' and chattin', you know.

Truthfully, when I was introduced to this place, I joined, talked for about a day, then left for like a month and a half. All of these guys scared the shit outta me, too. :lol: Then I came back and stole their pies... No, wait, that was Alex. RIIIIGHT! Lades and I and some others started the Pie Mafia! :rolleyes:

And I tortured them all with 20's music until they agreed to accept me.

That's incredibly, no, stupidly ironic you'd say that due to the fact that in about an hour I'm going to eat some.

I dunno...I've never really found this place threatening, so it's hard to understand where you're coming from. If people don't like you...well, whatever, who cares? Say what you want to say. IMO if you're active around here most people will get to know and like you.

The only real exception to that I can think of is "JJman" who I liked, but other people found him stupid and made fun of him a lot.

EDIT2-Oh, the other thing is, sometimes you'll post something up and no one will respond. Again, whatever; discussion isn't too intense here and personally, I think that the long involved posts I've made helped me think about stuff even if they weren't responded to.

Ya, you had crescent in your name before, right? To me, you are the definition of the best balance between lurker and poster - indeed, a chillaxer.

I tend to have days of not being here at all (when I have something better to do) and days of too much activity (when I don't), without much balance in between. That's different recently, I still post but it's sorta erratic, and not for long periods.
