Grondy never committed Genocide, he let everyone that wanted to join in, and then we just waited for everyone else to declare war on us.

We just picked on BTP or whoever it was, meanwhile everyone else tried to commit genocide and said everyone in WL or helping WL in any shape or forum must be taken out.

Karn, in Bern you'd be an equal. In at least one of the countries who've tried to recruit you here, you'd be someone's bitch until they're done using you. Plus, who can match the canon Bern in military might? Nothing singular in Elibe. Plus, we have those lovely wyverns everyone loves so much... ^_^

Strike, if you talked about how West Lycia, Grado, etc got too many members and stuff, you'd be making real points. Talking about how grondy committed genocide or something doesn't make any sense.

As for canonical Bern...if you guys don't get Mamkutes, your power is way diminished. As Heath says, Bern military as a whole is overrated. And Etruria was the real superpower anyway: even with Etruria in political turmoil and having conquered every other country directly, Bern used politiks and stuff to get Etruria on its side instead of challenging it directly.

In raw power, Etruria's the country which cannot be matched by anything "singular in Elibe." But I think Bern has the best generals and tactics and stuff like that. Also, IIRC, Heath says stuff about constant peasant rebellions and stuff, which (eww I'm a terrible person) provides training for the military.

How cool would it be to continue the legacy of the Pondy-Karn connection? We've owned every time we've been together, and you know it.
