Title: So here's what's up.

Lionheart - June 15, 2007 06:27 AM (GMT)
Me and Pondy had a chat about this new rule, and the RPG in general. Basically. I'm going to be taking most control of watching over this RPG.

Here are some things to keep notice of.

-Pondy will still handle giving out judge tests, and take care of the judging competition.

-The new rule recently posted about having only 6 or less battles in one topic is out. You can have as many fights going at one time as you want, and you may spar with as many people at one time as you want.

-Standard arena judging rules will be very slightly less strict. If a fight is judged before another one should of been, going by date, you won't automatically lose judging powers, or gold, or whatever it previously was. However..If a member PM's or just asks a judge if they would judge their battles for them, I'm sure most of you are nice enough to judge their battle or a few of their battles if they have multiple. Please try to refrain from just refusing. You may just be warned the first time around, but you could lose all judging powers, and gold later on. No fights will go unjudged. Judges, you wanted the power to judge for a reason, be cool about it and judge the fights for people as much as possible. You aren't required to judge 72662658 fights for a person a day, but try to be nice enough to get one or a few in at a time. It would be appreciated.

-Everything is basically still the same...Just stick with it, and most importantly, have fun with the RPG. Everybody wants to be the best. It's just normal, and understandable. Just have as much fun with the RPG as possible.

ps..Whoever approves profiles..Pondy won't do that anymore, so make sure you're all really paying attention to them.

First of all, before I even finish reading the first sentence, if a judge flat out refuses to judge, what good are they? As far as I'm concerned, judge status should only be given out to people willing to judge often. I'm not saying 24/7 on the watch, and judge the battle ASAP, but put it off for later, and be absolutely sure you don't "Forget" it.

*cough* Oh, looks like you basically toke the words out of my mouth...

You said something about passing over someone because they're new, thought you weren't allowed to pass over anyone no matter what?

It was worded like that because that would most likely be the top reason a battle would be passed over. You're right though, NO battle may just be passed over. I trust our judges to do their jobs.

Alright, gotcha.

To make sure everyone sees it, I won't get into active judging until next week, so please refrain from asking me. >.>

Fuckkkkkkk.

Now you've gone and screwed me up.

Kakashi_The_Alchemist - June 15, 2007 01:42 PM (GMT)
What perfect timing for this to take effect <_<

Kaden - June 15, 2007 01:58 PM (GMT)
Soooo, shouldn't Kakashi get his judging powers back and all that good stuff?

Lionheart - June 15, 2007 04:26 PM (GMT)
Yes, Kakashi will get his judging powers back.

I like Pondy, I just disagreed with that new rule. I don't want enemies.

Wow, so many changes to the fucking rules. The Forum Team is coming across as undecisive and unprepared. =/

so...if every judge refuses to judge a given person...who exactly will be punished? all the judges? this doesn't make terribly much sense to me.

Lionheart - June 16, 2007 04:02 AM (GMT)
Well I highly doubt that every judge is just going to pass a request up, because I know that our judges aren't assholes. I don't think we need to even worry about that.

UnrealBlight - June 16, 2007 04:05 AM (GMT)
Then was that little part really needed? :P

Seems like you're just re-iterating an already existing rule, on second thought, if that's all you're doing, then, alright :P

Lionheart - June 16, 2007 04:17 AM (GMT)
Okay, I reworded it better :P

UnrealBlight - June 16, 2007 04:19 AM (GMT)
Much better, thanks for clearing up that confusion
