I suck at doing this kind of thing so I'll start off with saying that Hyper dragged me here in order to get more people into the Wars, its looks pretty damn interesting too and I've been working on a character using the info and whatnot.

My food of choice is ice cream, I am allergic to nothing, and my pet peeve is ignorance.

Gotta hate that ignorance.

So lets see instead of being polite and whatnot I'll start by demanding answers for my questions.

First off, CAN males make pegasi riders? I mean "Flyers" is a female exclusive keyword but it says a requirement is "Ride Pegasi" as opposed to that being an attribute, this suggests I can ride my pegasi with a differant trait. (Mounted being what I may be going for.)

The character rules topic is vague about alot of things so heres another question, the starting package gives you 2500 gold correct? Do you have to post that you're buying items for your character before creating a "New Profiles" topic or do you just create the topic, add any weapons you want to start out with, and deduct it from your gold total?

Also finally, is there ANY way I can get more information on the various kingdoms and the like? Other then pre-existant knowledge of Fire Emblem.

Males CAN make pegasi riders, but the characters have to be female. If you want to make a male flyer, you have to use the 'dragon' keyword.

Well, this question I'm pretty sure goes either way. However if you are wanting to buy a weapon before you character is approved, I would go ahead and post in the shop topics anyway, then transfer all of that information into the character profile. (Check the next topic for the right answer, my bad.)

This third question is one I had problems with earlier too. My suggestion is to go here and look around. Search the different country names, and if that doesn't work, go to 'all pages' and hunt them down (that's what I had to do.)

I'll answer your questions as good as I can.

It does say, if you think about it, that males would be able to ride pegasi, but not as the Flyer keyword. That's probably just Pondy that worded it wrong. If you want to ride a pegasus as a male so badly though, choose the Mounted keyword, paint the horse white and install mechanical wings on it. That meaning, I'm pretty sure your character have to be female to ride pegasi (unless you're a very queer man, of course).

You need your profile approved before you can start getting new weapons for your character. The gold sorta isn't there until your profile is approved, so you can't buy stuff until your profile is approved. Just for the sake of saying it one more time, you need your profile approved before you can start buying weapons.

In the Broken Sword forum you can find the countries' recruitment topics. Other than, we don't really have anything right now.

I think they covered your questions sufficiently. Personally, I don't think males should be allowed to ride pegasi. EVER.

You need to be approved before you buy weapons and you need to post in the shops what you're buying before you can add it.

Google the countries. That's about all I can say. We really don't have anything about the countries here.

In all honesty, the countries in FE, and the countries in FEW are basically indifferent, at this point in time, the actual FE aspect has absolutely nothing to do with the RPG countries.

Well I guess I could take the knock-off wyvern riders, speaking of which you can ride wyverns (and pegasi assuming you're female) with ANY class right? Unless it somehow prevents that. So you don't need flyer or dragon classes. Just making sure.

Just having a white horse has more RP value anyways though so... hm...

I'll probably join Ilia partially because it has the least characters and partially because the country spawns some of the best Fire Emblem characters; Pegasi Sisters for the wiiiiins!

On a sidenote what state is the world in anyways? Is everything in peace, does this fit anywhere on the Fire Emblem timeline, is it some alternate place?

I believe we've begun another age after our age after FE6. The world was at one time in shambles, maybe not anymore.

Ilia doesn't have the fewest members by FAR. Sacae, Western Isles, and Valor do.
