2 years ago, in fact, and I'm pretty sure someone else posted it once too. So a few people here should've played it.

So, that being the case, what are your best hell times? I've got mine down to around 4:20 (I think it might be 4:17'3 but I'm too lazy to check).

Cave Story is made of superior pwn and win. I absolutely loved it from begining to end.

OOH! Cave Story is pwnage. I loved the game. Finished it with the OK ending, gotta go back and do the Hard playthrough. Geez, going through the game without the machine gun, though, is rather daunting. And then there's Hell...

Hell is so easy once you've done it once, but it is merciless the first fifty to one hundred times.

My first time through, I had a time of around 13 minutes XD

I find that impossibly impossible as you had not known ahead of time specifically what you needed to do. Also, the boss takes a while to beat.
