anyone else here see all those VISA commercials that show the poor idiot holding up an entire store/restaurant by daring to use cash? I'm sick of them. they're retarded.

1. it's not that fast and/or simple. I was a cashier for a while. credit cards are maybe, MAYBE an average of 5-10 SECONDS faster. if you're going to try and make me feel guilty about that, then screw you!

2. if it WERE that easy, think of the implications. every one of those people in the commercial could be wallet and/or identity thieves, and they're not getting caught.

3. if they were being realistic at ALL, every tenth person or so would hold up the line even worse by going through 2-3 different maxed out or otherwise denied cards and end up paying with cash anyway, if they decide to pay at all.

I laugh at how stupid the commercials are everytime. But, this isnt the only ridicoulously stupid commercial out there.

I can't disagree with that. I just have been seeing this one (well, any of them, I've seen 3 versions, I think) way too much, which is eerie, because I hardly watch TV anymore

Commercial are starting to become very stupid. The only ones I like are the Caveman Gieco commercials.

And even they are somewhat deteriorating. But it's like the caveman is competing with the gecko for Geicomascotial supremacy now. Why couldn't super bowl commercials be around all year?!

only problem with that is that the super bowl commercials sucked last year. the only good ones I remember were the Doritos one and the FedEx in space one (which was only any good because of the ending)

Best commercial of life was on like last year, and I saw it once before they cancelled it. It was like... some guy's on a hospital bed in a coma, and two doctors are standing beside him. A fly starts buzzing around, and they get annoying, watching him and holding the little electroshock thingies. Meanwhile, the coma-guy's wife and child are in an elevator coming up to his room, with a get well balloon and stuff like that. They walk in the room right as the two doctors are looking down at the dead fly (who's laying on the coma-guy) and saying, "That killed him."

I'm not very good at explaining it, sorry.

My favorite commercial from the super bowl was the bud light one with the serial killer with an axe, and the the second killer with a chainsaw.

"Let's pick him up" - Guy
"He's got an axe!" - Girlfriend
"But he has bud light, I'm sure there's a reason. *Rolls down window* Hey buddy, what's with the axe?" - Guy
"It's a uh.... Bottle opener." - Killer

Next scene.

"Look, he has budlight." - Guy
"And a chainsaw!" - Killer

Thats no argument fine sir, its a question. Nor is such a subject irrelevant. Stating this man is a killer could give false ideas to those around him, and people would probably avoid him because hes known wide as a killer.
