wow...I don't play much online, but you'd think my Melee-playing friends had rules 3, 4, 7 and to only a slightly lesser extent 10 engraved on their foreheads.

throwing towards an edge is cheap, combos are cheap (well, not theirs, duh), c-sticking is cheap (because they NEVER use it, trust them), mario/dr. mario's cape is cheap (heh heh, and my personal favorite, it just so happens). but above all, Marth isn't cheap. interestingly enough, Shiek is cheap, apparently because her power resides mainly in her strong attacks. anyone can pick up Shiek and win, but Marth...you gotta know which direction to smash attack spam, and that takes time and practice to get down

and yes, myles_master, if you ever peek back here, this does mean you

Geez I have this friend who has a sword or two up his ass for sword users, he seems to think the sword range makes them insanely better than all the other characters and uses this as an excuse when I school fox w/ marth. I mean come on I could just as easily whine about Fox being crazy fast.

AND DIRT KICK IS THE CHEAPEST THING EVER!!! DAMN YOU LUIGI AND YOUR DIRT KICKING ME OFF THE CLIFF INTO OBLIVION!
