Title: Pink Haired-Gnomes

UnrealBlight - January 28, 2008 12:04 AM (GMT)
So, I got back into WoW more or less, and I'm just blindly running around, joined a random guild, and just having fun. Human Rouge FYI, so anyways, I go to stormwind, and I hear about some people who are making pink-haired female gnomes, and were going to raid Org at level 2 (exp from running there). I figure it might be interesting, so I tag along.

I make the character, and named it Karmada (my "main" is Kramada), and we all huddle over to IronForge, after freaking out just around everyone there, we tram over to Stormwind. and precede to chase down anyone who mocks us. We spend around half an hour just randomly dueling each other and jumping around. We finally head off, and along our way, we got about 5 level 70s following us as escorts, too bad they didn't understand their purpose was to get ahead of us and attack, they ended up just getting on mounts and running circles around our little legs. It had to be, the most fun, I've ever had playing any MMO. We started off with around 15 of us, recruited like hell, got almost 60, and by the time we ran over to Booty Bay, we must've lost around 25 because of tigers jumping out of nowhere and owning us in a millisecond. It was F'n hilarious, we'd be in this long caravan, and out of nowhere, one or two would get just owned like hell in a blink.

Oddly enough, once we got to Sentinel Hill (around 1/3 the way to our target) we crashed the world. After dancing and running around Westfall claiming that we singlehandedly crashed the server, while waiting for people to get back on, we then set off on our trek again. We got to some arena or something (I'm not that familiar with WoW) and had a little fun with having 50 or some level 2 gnomes fighting level 70s or such. We only killed one level 70, with help with our priests though, so it was pretty fun.

We continued on to Booty Bay, and before we knew it, we were camped out, just a couple of yards away from our target. We sat around and talked about the whole trek, and then planned our method of attack. We got ready, thanked the escorts for all the help, and let them dash back to SW before they got killed. So, here we were, around 20 of us left, some killed, some lost connection, some had to leave, some were just too slow, and we had to leave them behind, etc. We rushed into Org, and suprise, we got killed before we even got inside the city.

After dieing around 6 or so times, we got near the bank, and toke about 20 minutes, trying to spell out L O L with our bodies lieing down. Worked great untill we found out, after you spawn back to life, when you die, your body turns a little bit, so the LO looked like a U and a semicolon. =/ So we all ran back, and after a little discussion, we decided, lets all just die ontop of the mailbox.

All in all, it was a load of fun, and a great way to kill a handfull of hours. If you want, make a horde on bloodscalp, and check us out, we should still be there, laying forever.

There should be another 1 or 2 coming, but it was only yesterday, so people are still working on it.

You can see me spamming the warlock defence thing @ 35, and you can see me running by around the lower right @ 45.

nice

The best experience I've had is when I first bought the game (long time ago) before there were battlegrounds. I was in south shore and just came out of the inn and saw a group of about 9 people randomly running some direction. So, I just followed them. Running with them we ran into 2 of the biggest guilds on our side. Totaled up there were about 80 people in this group. Then a horde group just as big joined us. Every few seconds another Alliance and another Horde would join up. There was a lot of lag, but there were a huge amount of people in that area.

I once saw a video on youtube of a 70 Tauren druid fighting over 100 low level gnomes and dwarves in their starting area. It was a massacre, but he died after about 10 minutes or something.

Yes! Bloodscalp! I just started on that server...literally. But it's only an alt of an alt of an alt.

However, that is an epic tale. And I salute your pink-haired corpse.

Anyone play on Detheroc?

Lades, or anyone else who still has an active account, if you want, we're doing it again, possibly going to Undercity or w/e, not sure yet.

It's going to be this Saturday, and time-wise, we started last time about 6 PM Central, so somewhere aroung that time most likely. Beware, if you actually want to join us, when we did it last time, it ended around 3 AM, so you're gonna want to dedicate the rest of your day for this, trust me, it's totally worth it though.

EDIT: Lades, I started my "main" on that realm like just Thursday, so if you wanna meet up or something, add me, (Kramada). I'm only level 12 as of now, but we could just hang out :P

I'll add ya, but don't look for me often, lol.

When the server's back up, I'll make a WoW topic for the charries we all have.
