Title: Snow
nightwalker - March 8, 2008 07:06 PM (GMT)
Err.. don't really know where to put this.
Where I live, Ohio, we have been having snow consistently for about 24 hours now. The snow is building up and just about everything has been cancelled. The snow emergency levels have reached level 3 in the worst parts. When I look outside, I can't even see the bushes in my front yard. Luckily, Friday school was cancelled and now I have a lot of free time. However, a couple parties have been cancelled too because it is too dangerous to drive in the snow. Anyone else who lives in Ohio/Indiana, hope you are having a great time.

We be trapped in this mess of snow. At least it looks like it's stopped snowing? Darn in some senses, woohoo in others.
Arcan - March 9, 2008 03:30 AM (GMT)
School let out at noon, I've been at a friends house we immediately went to sense. Even cooler, we just fixed my router so we can all internet/lan.

Hahaha. We had no truck over the weekend, it was just burried in all that snow!
It was great.
It was a continuous 31hrs of snow where I live in Ohio.
I personally think it was awesome, and we should have had more.
<3 Snow.
UnrealBlight - March 12, 2008 03:02 AM (GMT)
I've never seen more then 1 cm of snow in my life.
I hate you all.
LoZfan03 - March 12, 2008 03:44 AM (GMT)
you can have some, really. Minnesota gets more than it knows what to do with, as evidenced by the awkward piles in parking lots
in happier news, we had a nice warm (40 degree t-shirt weather warm :D ) day here and it's melting off like crazy. bad news is that there's pools and mud sinkholes everywhere you turn
Lades - March 12, 2008 01:20 PM (GMT)
Yesterday it was freezing! It was like 55 degrees! ^_^
Sorry to the people that are trapped. I get snow every 8 years or so, so I think we might get some by 2010. I'd like to have snow again.
Trace Stratus - March 12, 2008 10:17 PM (GMT)
I saw snow but it was so light that it melted on contact, so there was no build up...it's been at least 5 years since we've actually gotten a layer of snow in middle Georgia.
nightwalker - March 12, 2008 11:07 PM (GMT)
ahhh, the days after the snow happened to be the warmest days we've had since fall. Now all the snow is melting :(. All those long hours of shoveling are wasted. However, snow always manages to stay on the track that I run on, causing me to slip whenever I go to work out.
UnrealBlight - March 13, 2008 03:44 AM (GMT)
The adds on this page are about fake snow.
I'm intrigued.
Lades - March 13, 2008 01:22 PM (GMT)
Fake snow, Pssh. I have a broken freezer, it makes snow for me.
And I throw snowballs at people in the house...and they get mad.
Black Val - March 13, 2008 06:02 PM (GMT)
Hey Lades, just come to OHIO, you can have all the snow you want.
(Black Valor - who is now bored as heck with Cadin being gone to boot camp)
Valter - March 13, 2008 09:34 PM (GMT)
It's snowed twice already this year. That's right, it snowed in Alabama. It hasn't snowed since '02. Global warming my ass.

I bet Al Gore is going to invent Global Cooling now and get a nobel prize for it.

That sounds perfectly plausible.

Between Ice ages and burning up. Hey, it's just like summer and winter! Everything comes in cycles people.
nightwalker - March 14, 2008 09:09 PM (GMT)
only this is on a global scale and costs a lot more money.
Black Val - March 15, 2008 06:08 PM (GMT)
Well, just ask the dinosaurs - it's better to lose money than to be dead.
