I don't own a Wii, but I've played more Brawl than I probably should have. I mostly play Pit, Ike, and Link, with the occasional Sonic or Game'n'watch for kicks...

I actually can play online with my Japanese version. My experience with online though is a lot of lag. I'll post my Brawl code up when I get my Wii registered on my campus internet.

I already have some vids on youtube of ROB and a couple of Fox.

I CBA to buy the game still, hopefully someone will be outraged enough at the news of that and offer to get the game for me, so far that method's done wonders for me, even if it means missing the brand-new-game rush. :lol:

I'm not sure if Toon Link is going to be a main for me, but it keeps in with my username. my absolute favorite currently is Wolf. my possible mains (in order of current preference) are: Wolf, Lucas, Toon Link, Pit, Fox, Marth, Sheik, and Lucario. some I haven't had a chance to give a chance yet in no order are: Ness, Sonic, Olimar, ROB and Diddy. I love this roster :D

Unfortunately the guy I play with a lot usually puts up the videos of him winning. We usually go about 50-50.

I also got 7th at a 71 person tourney in Northern Virginia this weekend, with many good smashers including Azen, Chu and Chillin.

That is pretty impressive...there havent been any tourneys that I know of around my area yet.

I really like the way you play R.O.B. by the way. :P

I watched the one with you as ROB and Echo as Olimar. I noticed that your very good at edge guarding and have great reaction time concerning the destruction of his Pikman. Great game man.

Well, since this topic isnt receiving any posts at the moment I'll post a few thoughts.

My best character is pikachu. He has been my main since the first game so I am rather used to his style of play. After playing as sonic, I really like how fast he is and how many attacks he can use that can combo into eachother so easily, however it can be quite annoying to K.O. people with sonic. My third fav is yoshi because his final smash is interesting to me. I also like a few of the changes they have made to yoshi, such as his up B being able to launch him up a bit. After that, I love using pokemon trainer, king dedede, fox, and toon link. How often I use each character is odd, I only use pikachu against the people that I know are really good and I usually use yoshi and sonic against everyone else the most. :P

So thats it for my thoughts. I wish I could see more friend codes. I was hopin more people here would get it. :(

Toon Link: turning out to be my main. for some reason, I'm much better with his boomerang than I ever was with any Link. like the speed and aerial options. biggest issue so far has been dairing just to the side of a ledge and forgetting I have bombs to access. can't decide my favorite costume though...all of them but purple are cool

Wolf: like him a lot, but don't end up using much. worst problems are forgetting the side B sucks in normal situations and misjudging the dash. laser is good for one or two shots at a time, and tilts are just how I like 'em

Lucas: very awesome, I should use him more than I do. I love the B and side B, throw, aerials

ZSS: love like crazy (Target Test 4 in 24.90 with her, I'm kinda proud of that), but I suck like crazy with Samus, so I don't use her when I expect smash balls to play in. I plan to practice Samus to try and make it an option to use her

ROB: haven't given the time he deserves, but everything so far has been good. up B is made of awesome, B is meh

I really want to use Sonic and Olimar, but I never end up picking them >_<

Yeah, I've been usin olimar a bit as of late, he drives my brother insane in one on ones. :lol:

I finally got my hands on playing brawl. Usually the people I mooch off get the game right away, but everyone has a PS3 instead of a Wii.

I like the game so far and my favorite character is snake by far. Aside from him I use meta knight, Pitt, and Marth.

I don't really like the final smash because everyone I play with runs away until the smash ball comes and then breaks it to use their final smash. They try less to be good at fighting and more to be good at getting the smash ball.

Wow...they run away? That sounds pretty dull. I had a match with items off a few days ago and my brother was playing as marth on spear pillar while I was king dedede. He ran away the whole match once I got him down to one life, so then I just started throwing my waddle dees for items to kill him. I got two smash balls from it.

Real tournaments will not be using final smashes, items, etc. Three stock matches are the norm.

I think thats pretty clear, for obvious reasons.

the fights over the smash balls would be pretty epic though, shame

I can't find Brawl in any stores around here. God damnit.

Well, I have added all of your friend codes to my friends list now, so Im hoping we can get some matches going sometime with FEW members. :)

I am still hoping to see more friend codes as well so we can have increased chances of full free for alls and 2 on 2s. Im up for 1 on 1s but the lag doesnt really let you play very competitively. :mellow:

sometimes it's alright. I found a people people in my area from GameFAQs that don't give a lot of lag. haven't yet established a fabled green connection yet though

EDIT - btw, I've got a little brother who plays with his friends online sometimes. so if you're beating LZfan, it's probably him :rolleyes:

I've been wanting more human opponents and my brother seems to think the game is screwed up beyond repair because I beat him the majority of the time. I dont find one on ones too exciting online cause the lag throws off timing a decent bit, but I like havin free for alls and team doubles. Not to say one on ones are boring, I still find them pretty enjoyable.

In news that is not dealing with versus, I have one challenge left to do in Brawl. Clear boss battles with all characters.

very nice. I've got a bunch of do ___ with everyone stuff left. haven't cleared boss battles on anything yet...I need to practice dodging those gay rings of Tabuu's <_<

summer for me is the first weekend of May though, so it could be worse. I'll probably be back this weekend and the weekend including the 26th as well. it's nice going to college a mere 50 miles from home ^_^
