After going to rehab and being without music for like 5 months I came home and downloaded a bunch. I've been listening to a bunch of stuff, mainly rap and deathcore/metalcore/grindcore stuff. I'm going to make a list of bands and their myspaces for anyone who wants to check them out, and feel free to leave some feedback.

They're a deathcore band from North Carolina. They're pretty famous, they have sick breakdowns and vocals.

They're like techno mixed with screamo. They're definitely one of my favorite bands. They have a unique sound to them, everything is really catchy, the vocals are good, it's just an easy band to like. Put Some Clothes On is my favorite song by them.

Pretty much just some br00t4l ass deathcore. heavy shit, epic breakdowns, crazy double bass, loud screaming. One of the heavier and better deathcore bands I've heard.

Another pretty good band. Pretty hardcore but their songs all sound a decent amount different. The vocals are good, not the heaviest shit but I'd definitely recommend it. A friend at rehab told me about them and I checked them out, and loved them.

Fucking epic. That's all I have to say. If you don't like them get the fuck out. They have a VERY unique sound, and combine video game sounding beats with screaming. They're just amazing. Definitely one of my favorite bands. It's not deathcore or anything, it's not nearly as heavy, but I love it. This is easily one of my favorite bands.

Not my favorite but a lot of people like them. Really into brees. They're heavy as fuck, lots of screaming, pretty basic deathcore. They're decent, I don't think they're all that great but I'm posting them just because they're pretty popular amongst deathcore fans.

Fucking br00t4l. They're amazing. Vocals are incredible, break downs are amazing, double bass is ridiculous, I love just about everything about them. Listen to Denouncement, that's one of my favorites.

Another local band. They truly blow me away. Apparently they're looking for a new vocalist. The songs that have vocals have great vocals. The drummer is fucking AMAZING. the breakdowns are brutal as fuck. They're just amazing.

Probably the most mainstream hardcore band of today. While they aren't my favorite, I think they're pretty fucking good. A lot of people hate on them because they're mainsteam, but talent wise they're fine. Listen to Reptar King of the Ozone, Hey John What's Your Name Again or HTML Rulez d00d, all of them are sick.

Hrmmm...music I tend to stay away from, for the most part, but I'll probably check out some of it. Not big on rap, or deathcore.

Yeah, that's stuff I usually stay away from, though some rap is pretty good. I'm more of a ska and pop-punk type of person.

I thought I was the only person who loved HORSE the Band. Thank God. Whitechapel is pretty sweet too.

LoveHateHero's the only thing that at a quick listen to I like. I didn't give HORSE the band a very long listen tho. I dunno.
