this is a great game i just got sheena and yes loyd is aswome

but Loyd is weaker than many others. Order of usefulness

1.)Raine(Healer)
2.)Presea(AXWOMAN!)
3.)Sheena(Ninja using..paper seals??)
4.)Loyd(I don't like him, but others do...
5.)Zelos(Magic Swordsm,an who is A lOT better than Kratos...)
6.)Kratos(TRAITOR!!!)
7.)Colette(Okay skills, but Raine's much more usful as a computer player.)
8.)Genis(He sucks, he sucks, he sucks...no good skills, weak up front, just WORTHLESS.)

genis is actually very good if you have him casting long range magic spells.........
presea....(useless....to damn slow)
sheena(good melee unit also is a summoner)
lloyd(uses two swords...is fast..gets three hits to presea's one=1/3 more damage)
raine(good healer)
zelos(well balanced swordsman...healing...good magic spells)
kratos(same as zelos)
collete(usless)
not listed in any special order.....just my thoughts

If cloaked figures come to your door, I said not to do it. Presea's awesome! How'd you play her? CPU or Human?

anyway, useful characters are

Lloyd (rising falcon ownz j00)
Genis (indignation: 3,000+, meteor storm potential 9,000)
Zelos/Kratos (just plain good...)
Raine (photonity, rayity and revitalizity goodness)
Collette(what the hell?!? actually, with the resilence skill she distracts quite a few bosses, and since she can't stagger, they attack her and you come up behind them and.....)
Regal & Presea (good, but have sorta the same fighting style....)
Sheena (2 much work 2 summon, and her other attacks just get in your way)

and don't even try dissagreeing because I beat the final boss in less than 5 minutes, not to mention I beat the sworddancer 3 (99,999 hp, uber spells, and insane physical combos) maxwell (THE GUY HAS METEOR STORM!!!!! oh yeah and 60,000 hp) and finally........abyssion (most people go through the game avoiding this incredible boss with 120,000 hp, and you're suppose to be at lvl 80 to beat him, I was at level 71)

oh yeah and I still haven't watched the ending, I just slaughter the final boss to get my self-esteem back up when I die in the stupid underworld with 15 random floors and NO SAVE POINTS)

But I like Presea...she's good...
