4 he "says" he believes that life begins at conseption but refuses to support a ban on partial birth abortion.

im nto an amercian or anything, and i have no idea what the hells going on here, but ill just state my opinion for the fun of it:

i dont like George Bush. i just dont. if Bush-supporters heard what people say about him around here, they'd go nuts. heres one of the things that was in a column in a newspaper around here (not quoted exactly; this was a while ago)

he seems to act like the whole world revolves around the USA, and 9/11 was the worst thing that could ever happen to the world. yes, it was a horrible thing, i was affected by it too, but i really dont think that he needed to destroy the middle east for it. it started out as going after Osama Bin Laden and Afganistan, and now its going after Saddam Hussein and Iraq. this doesnt seem to be about 9/11 anymore.

about "weapons of mass destruction". didnt Korea say they had them? and Bush hasnt gone after them.....yet.....

like i said, i have no idea about American politics (hell i barely no anything about Canadian politics~!~!), and im sorry if my opinion upset anybody. but, a right of the world is free speech, so i at least can't get assassinated for this....right...?

Meh like i care, America can blow itsself up for all i care. well except flordia and cali, i love the sun there, but yeah Bush is cool with me, i dont believe there were weapons but saddam IS insane, so call it a humanitarian mission, it was for the gas no doubt but there we're good things about it.

it does. the world econimy<sp?> revolves around the use.....sorry but if the us crashes the world econimy<sp?> would die....

yes, many of the products we use come from US, but even more come from China, Taiwan, and alot of other countries like that. one of the only ways the US affects us directly is the gas prices. its about 94.5 cents a litre here as of the last time i checked. if the world revolved around the US, you'd think most of us would know the names of at least 20 of the states huh?

yes, i remember that conversation, tho not much of it cause ive got a really bad memory. it has changed the way i think, but not much. besides on this site, i have never met a Bush supporter. that influences the way i think about things; the only conversations about politics people in my class have is about how much most people dont like Bush.

about Saddam. apparently, the US set him up so that he could rule Iraq. isnt it a coincidence that as soon as he shows a bit of resistance to the US, the US takes him out? that almost seems like hypocrasy (sp?)

its the importing(we stop importing>they stop producing>they are screwed) that , the us does that is soo important...plus the fact we have troops and money all over the world keeping governments stable.....opec controls gas prices. by deciding how much oil to pump...another thing. oil will always go up in price until another source of fuel is found....

and about the 20/50 states thing ;) .... how many of the americans here know all of the provinces in Canada without looking them up? most people don't..... i know the names of most of the states because of some American geography program i had on my comp when i was 8. its figuring out where most of them are is the problem..... :lol:
