have you ever wonder how when u lose something u look for it forever u buy a new one then u find right after

Nope. It's happened to me like once, but never more.
Lord Of The End Times - November 5, 2004 04:33 AM (GMT)
hasn't happened to me, but when i look for somthing for a really long time (like my GBA) i just give up, then later i find out that it's on the side of the sofa, even though i already looked there. and a more annoying thing was when i pick up the batteries then i looked for the GBA then when i found it i lost track of where i put the batteries for about 30 seconds, only to realise i was still holding them.

I do that a lot. I once lost the remote for like a month and then found it under the couch.

Really you lost the remote for like a mounth i lost my fire emblem for a mounth in a half after i got it and that really really sucked and ive been whondering for a long time when you lose something it comes back to a spot you already checked (its really annoying) any body have a answer

it may be quite simple. one of family members may of found the item you were looking for, they grab it then put it down later then when you look in the area that they put it down (more easier to see), well you know. but even if you told them you lost the item they may of forgotten.
the second theory is when you look for it (example under the blanket) it is behind somthing, as you search you move the item around but fail to notice. when you look there again you see it because you have moved it from its hard to see place
third theory, you just missed it, simple as that

It's one of the laws of natural life, a companion to the famous Murphy's Law- "If something can go wrong, it will".
Same thing with the farther you have to carry a heavy object with both arms, the both your nose itches.

nah i'm always carrying heavy stuff cause it seems whenever my dads not around is when my mom needs something lifted. and when it does happen just scratch ur nose on the object you're carrying.

If I'm holding something, sometimes if someone distracts me and tells me to do something else, I'll forget I'm holding it and drop it without noticing. Then I have to remember what I was holding and then find where I dropped it.

If I hold something for long enough I'll forget why I was holding it and put it somewhere. Then half an hour later I'll remember what I was supposed to do with it and try to find it, but I almost never do.

is that an actual person or do you just read too much Xanth?
Axem Titanium - March 13, 2005 11:31 PM (GMT)
Murphy's law existed before Anthony made Murphy into a character in Xanth.
But you read Xanth!? How many of them have you read?
