Many Bush supporters are from the Midwest. If you look at the map thing, practically the only states that voted for Kerry were the ones that had a coastline.

It should have been a tie. Then, when the decision goes to the House of Reps, it should have been another tie, resulting in mass turmoil because the US would have no president.
