Oh my GOD

grondring - November 21, 2004 10:13 PM (GMT)
I like Golden Sun. It's an excellent (note, I said excellent, not wonderful) game.
Dark_lancer - November 22, 2004 08:13 AM (GMT)
I agree but on number 2 darlharlen is really hard

finally some that agrees with me but beatting him is good because the taimer learns call darlharlen and you get the ultimate summon but I don't know what it is because I haven't beaten him I just heard this
Axem Titanium - November 22, 2004 09:47 PM (GMT)
Maybe I have a different translation but I thought his name was Dullahan. Anyway, he's not as hard as Deadbeard or Fusion Dragon because you can kill him just by unleashing all of your summons and a little bit of luck.

fusiondragon and deadbeard are far easyer to beat and summons just kill you
Axem Titanium - November 22, 2004 11:18 PM (GMT)
Actually, if you set all of your Djinn and go into battle, you should be able to kill him with just summoning as many Catastrophes and etc until your first party dies, then continue summoning until he dies. It was actually simpler than some of the other uber bosses in Golden Sun.
grondring - November 23, 2004 03:23 AM (GMT)
I had nearly all my people use a high level summon and Dullahan lived... then proceeded to pound my party, who was now immeasurably weak because all their Djinn were spent. What's up with that, huh? Great advice, bud. Just great.
SuperDragonSlayer - November 23, 2004 05:25 AM (GMT)
I barely ever attack normally in random battles
thats what attacking with djinns is for
afterwards you can just set them again

Maybe you just suck because it worked for both me and David H. without trouble at around level 65 or so.
Karn - November 23, 2004 08:30 PM (GMT)
Golden Sun is a great game it's just not addicting to me so I didn't get very far.
Omega X - November 24, 2004 08:53 AM (GMT)
:D my favorite thing in golden sun is the ridlles
red_dragon_master - November 26, 2004 12:47 PM (GMT)
first of all death beard and fusion dragon are the most pathetic bosses in the history of golden sun, dulhallen is not impossible but he is WAY harder than the others. ive beaten every boss in each game with only attacks so im not used to using djinn, besides using them just lowers your stats...

Same me the only time I have needed my dijin was once I was fighting darlharlen for 3 hours do you think he would be dead I do but he keeps regaining health
red_dragon_master - November 26, 2004 02:05 PM (GMT)
dullahan is EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hopping: *rambling on about jibberish*

=icy voice= I'm at Level 50 because I didn't both training for half a year before fighting Dullahan.
'Ivan - November 26, 2004 04:11 PM (GMT)
Ahem...Golden Sun. The source of my existance on the internet....the very first reason I came online. My namesake...."
---
Dullahan was easy, considering that I had imported my party from the first one at around level 74.
Also, I was at level 69 with my main party before fighting Dullahan, having gone through the .....Islet Isle? And beating the <blocked> out of Wonderbirds.
grondring - November 26, 2004 04:20 PM (GMT)
Wow. =cough=obsessive=cough=
Bing: Here, boss. Have a cough drop.
Thanks. Mm. Lemon.

grondring - November 26, 2004 04:25 PM (GMT)

Nah, twice for each game. Tri-Elemental classes are fun. Chaos Lord owns.
grondring - November 26, 2004 04:30 PM (GMT)
'Ivan - November 26, 2004 04:31 PM (GMT)
Tri-Elemental class? Tomegathericon?
grondring - November 26, 2004 04:35 PM (GMT)
I've no idea what you're speaking of.
Omega X - November 26, 2004 08:33 PM (GMT)
I only imported level 20 characters Red dragon master had level 99 characters

I got to Level 65 through regular play. I'm too lazy to actually train because it's boring.
Omega X - November 26, 2004 10:25 PM (GMT)
I went through regular play but I had the lure cap equipted
Axem Titanium - November 27, 2004 03:54 AM (GMT)
I hate random encounters. I always get the item or whatever that decreases random encounters and I usually have it equipped all the time. I do this with my FF games too. It's also why I like .hack. You can see enemies and you can avoid them sometimes.
Omega X - November 27, 2004 04:47 AM (GMT)
They are annoying but thats how I got my characters

What? Then how did you get up to Level 65 then? Did you just take an immeasurably long time in each dungeon?
I don't think you can avoid enemies on .hack... unless you mean running away from them...
Oh, do you mean just not getting near the portal thingies?
Omega X - November 27, 2004 07:18 AM (GMT)
there's only an item that has that effect
grondring - November 27, 2004 07:19 AM (GMT)
Axem Titanium - November 27, 2004 08:10 AM (GMT)
Yes, I do mean avoid portals when possible. I even buy tons of Fairy Orbs so I can avoid unnecessary dungeon battles.
I don't remember how I got to 65. Maybe it was all of those unavoidable battles in the sidequests I did in my quest for completeness.

grondring - November 27, 2004 09:24 PM (GMT)
He means "what's it about"... I think. It's an archaic but still grammatically correct phrase.
