Title: Judge Tryouts
Description: 2.25.2005

Here it is, folks, your big chance to finally become a judge! However, this is not open to everyone. Here is the procedure:

1. Make a topic in the new Judge Tryouts forum.

2. Get the signature of at least three already approved judges. You can check who is a judge by looking at the list here. Those three judges should post in the topic you made.

3. After you have obtained three or more signatures, go through the normal procedure. Send a PM (with a link to your signature topic) to Grondring or Lionheart and they will send you some battles to judge.

4. After doing so, he will judge how well you judge (heh) and if he approves, he will grant you the position. If not, you must get 3 more signatures from 3 other judges in a new topic that clearly states that this is your 2nd (or 3rd or etc.) try.

Good luck!

SO:

make topic.

*get signatures

*judge a match/3 matches

PM AT and hope.

*=not entirely sure.

grondring - February 22, 2005 02:08 AM (GMT)
Yes.

Kyrillos - February 22, 2005 02:08 AM (GMT)
so we get signatures by judging 3 matches?

Axem Titanium - February 22, 2005 02:09 AM (GMT)
No, you get signatures by making a post. If enough bigwigs like you, you'll get the signatures.

Kyrillos - February 22, 2005 02:10 AM (GMT)
I'm lost..... >_<

just let me trial judge three matches, and get signatures.

oh! a link to the FORMULA'S would be nice in this or the judge tryout place.

grondring - February 22, 2005 02:12 AM (GMT)
No, you've got it wrong. You have to get three signatures to even be able to judge the battles.

Kyrillos - February 22, 2005 02:14 AM (GMT)
I see...

I post a topic, and hope 3 judges give a stamp o' approval.

Then I ask AT if I can judge, and he gives me a match or 2 to judge, and based on my performance, he says yay or nay.

grondring - February 22, 2005 02:20 AM (GMT)
Exactly.

Kyrillos - February 22, 2005 02:23 AM (GMT)
now I need three of the almighty judges to give me a approval.

Axem Titanium - February 25, 2005 12:08 PM (GMT)

BTW, when taking my test, please do not use the vital maker thing.

Míxtil_<3_fish! - July 25, 2005 04:39 PM (GMT)
why?

QUOTE (míxtil @ Jul 25 2005, 11:39 AM)
why?

Well, its sort of cheating, getting the computer to do the work for you...

Míxtil_<3_fish! - July 26, 2005 03:41 PM (GMT)
its practical, though.

sara13987 - July 26, 2005 03:45 PM (GMT)
But, it doesn't show that you know how to do vitals. Anyone can subtract two numbers, but it takes more skill to know how to get those numbers.

pah. its like choosing between writing a letter and aking a phonecall. one is quicker, easyer, more modern and sensible.

Dragon_Tam3r - July 26, 2005 03:49 PM (GMT)
but its messed up though.. didn't someone say it does attack speed wrong, and that would mess up evade i think

Míxtil_<3_fish! - July 26, 2005 03:50 PM (GMT)
