Title: NPC Arena Complaint/Special
Kyrillos - March 14, 2005 12:54 AM (GMT)
I have noticed that many people in the NPC arena are being skipped over in the queues byu thier house leaders or judges in the house. Personally, I think that's unfair. Reyde may be a judges, but he dosn't have all the time in the world. I notice this becasue after waiting for over 2 weeks, I am still in the que for Kelos, while other, recenter challengers are judged, without giving a thought to those who have been there waiting for an excessive amount of time. Judges only judge thier own battles, and thus, a power imbalance is created. I'm literally a 1.5 month old level 1 because I've never been judged there are other like this too. Chaosblade is being neglected, and Blackvalor had a fight prepared for probably about a month. The ques aren't working. There are too many judges not judging, and too many more judging only thier houses. I'd like to take this time and point to sara's little competitiveity rant from a couple weeks ago. That is waht made me WANT to leave, and then leave Nabata. I'm not their after the WL/Nabata battle. I'll be a mercenary, and then, I'm screwed even more. Why? BECASE THE JUDGES ARE NEGLECTING TO REALIZE PAST THIER OWN HOUSES. I see all the new members join houses like Eturia, Bern, WL, and all of the usual bigshots. They are all at least 2 levels higher than me because they were 'skipped' in the que for no good reason. A good reason is not 'thier in my house'. A good reason is 'these couple of levels good mean the battle in a upcoming war.' And then the countries backdown, and the people are left sitting in line, waiting endlessly. So, I have something past 'please judge me' to say. If any judge sees this, PLEASE, for the sake of members, go to the NPC arena, and just start going down the ques, judging people. Start from the first unjudged member, and then go down the list. I know that there are multiple people in line before me in every arena, and I'd rather see them judged before me. I'm just a little tired of seeing all the members patiently waiting and being skippen in the things that were supposed to 'stop' non-judging in the NPC arena. I'm sure the other member's that are in the que's and being skipped will agree with me SOMEWHERE in this rant.
This same thing is also happening in the SPECIAL arena. I see judges judging themselves, maybe the people in tihre house, and then forgetting to do the rest of the people who's like to battle.

I understand what you are saying but you can't force a judge to judge something. Some of us do not have time to judge along with other responsibilities. I would judge if it wasn't for schoolwork and other work I have to do. If I find some extra freetime I'll try to get some of it judged.

Sometimes, I feel irrational exuberance every now and then and I judge everything in the entire forum because I feel like it. I haven't done it in a while but I might during Spring Break.

I judged like 8-11 battles Friday night . . . I didn't sleep that night at all.
Most of us just simply haven't found time yet.

*cough* Yes,I am sick today.
But really...most of the judges that come on can stay for quite some time.Is it so difficult to judge a battle everyday? If all judges would judge a battle everyday (it takes 5 minutes if the vitals are up) there'd be less complaining like this.
I know I'm not doing,but I could do it,as soon as I get better.

Yes, it is. I get on only to check the new posts, and wait for people to get online so I can chat to them. I only judge battles that I've been asked to judge; and even then, I won't if I've got a limited time on the internet, or I'm feeling especially stressed or sad. My parent's are taking another "the comp's slow and it's your fault" tantrum, so I'll be less active than normal, unless I find a way to change their opinion. I don't have all the time in the world....

I agree with Sara, when I'm on it's to chatch up on what's happened during the day, and then I need to get off and do my homework and whatnot. I'm sorry to say it but I'm not going to waste all of my little free time judging battles.

err....ditto...
the only answer to this is getting a auto judge program(which i do not have the knowledge to write yet)
