ethunasia=perfectly legal.
Kyrillos - March 23, 2005 10:34 PM (GMT)
The husband should be allowed to divorce, but the lady should be kept alive in a vegetative state.
grondring - March 23, 2005 10:35 PM (GMT)
Obviously the money's not a problem, so she should live.
Míxtil_<3_fish! - March 23, 2005 10:35 PM (GMT)
Lionheart - March 23, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
that would be euthanasia...and the only thing they are no longer giving her is food and liquid's.
Míxtil_<3_fish! - March 23, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
thats not uite ethunasia, so i'm borderline on this.

he is allowed to...he refuses to....even though he has a fiance and two kids from her....
Míxtil_<3_fish! - March 23, 2005 10:38 PM (GMT)
you see, shes never been asked about death, so its murder, just.
grondring - March 23, 2005 10:39 PM (GMT)
The husband's a louse, in my opinion.
Míxtil_<3_fish! - March 23, 2005 11:09 PM (GMT)
why? taking advantage of her?
Axem Titanium - March 24, 2005 03:43 AM (GMT)
It seems everyone's an asshole and out to get her.
Severian - March 24, 2005 03:52 AM (GMT)
As far as I'm concerned, we should keep her alive to make her parents feel better. I doubt she'll ever wake up again, but at least her parents will be reassured. I'm not sure how I feel about the husband, and what has been said about him...there's a lot of rumors and such I've heard on both sides that makes it hard to decide what he's actually like, or whether he's doing it because he thinks she would want to die, or because he wants her to die. I think most of the comments on him are slanted by whoever makes them.
Lionheart - March 24, 2005 01:32 PM (GMT)
but he didnt remember that she "wanted" to die until he got 5 million dollars to take care of her.
Severian - March 24, 2005 02:39 PM (GMT)
You mean that when they started to give him money, he gave up on her, or that after getting one big chunk of cash he gave up? If the former, w/e, if the latter, I'd have to say he's one sick son of a [blocked] (not to insult his mom necessarily).
'Ivan - March 26, 2005 10:46 PM (GMT)
No... her parents have lost their
chance to appeal...
Esgalglinion - March 27, 2005 12:42 PM (GMT)
You'll hate me when I say I believe her husband does the right thing...what I can't believe is why they don't end the life on the instant.
dark menace - March 27, 2005 01:15 PM (GMT)
I'm with Esgal. 15 years in the vegatative state is no life at all.
Phoenix - March 27, 2005 02:36 PM (GMT)
That's sooooo true. I mean, what can she do? Just sit there!!! In any way you look at it it's a win-win situation if you let her go. If you believe it, she will go to Heaven. Otherwise, she will have a prosperous next life, or better than what she's in now. It's pure cruelty, not letting her go, but having her half- dead for fifteen years.....

ChaosDevil27 - March 27, 2005 05:09 PM (GMT)
Im partly laughing, partly feeling sorry for the guy who made it
'Ivan - March 28, 2005 03:26 AM (GMT)
Isn' the last sub-boss awesome? I mean, the helicopter practically takes the top off the hospital with that second flyby.
There aren't enough save points in that last level anyways.
ChaosDevil27 - March 28, 2005 03:46 AM (GMT)
Yea I know, and then the last boss if he hits you you go back into vegitative state......hard stuff man.
'Ivan - March 28, 2005 03:55 AM (GMT)
I fell off the building twice while trying to beat the helicopter with the chainsaw. TWICE. Either I suck, or it's not possible.
ChaosDevil27 - March 28, 2005 04:14 AM (GMT)
I vote the first ^_^ I mean that was one of the easiest parts....but after that you get bombarded with tranquilizer darts......its like the matrix!
'Ivan - March 28, 2005 04:36 AM (GMT)
Screw you. I ran out of Bullet Time (energy, that is) by that point.
And make your signature smaller. Make a page in Stats and Profiles or something.

Uh...
Firecross - March 29, 2005 02:50 PM (GMT)
to resume the topic, this whole thing is a pisspoor display of government incompidence
they spend freaking 5 million dollars on a women who, if she dies, will not feel pain
while every day millions of homeless people are starving and dying, feeling every minute of it, anyone else see the problem here?
fluke - March 29, 2005 06:46 PM (GMT)
ok. im so tired of hearing this. the doctors say shes in a vegitative state. cant feel, ect. and why are we questioning the doctors here? well maybe we arent, but these are the people we pay big bucks to tell if we are well or not. and how many doctors have said she wont recover?
Axem Titanium - March 30, 2005 04:32 AM (GMT)
There's an article in Time about it.
The game is friggin' genius!
dark menace - March 31, 2005 06:57 PM (GMT)
Goodbye, Terry Schiavo. See ya in heaven
'Ivan - March 31, 2005 09:47 PM (GMT)
By this, Darky means that Schiavo has indeed died.
...about time.
SpiralStatic - March 31, 2005 11:21 PM (GMT)
Well that's good. There was no point in keeping her alive. It was more cruel to keep someone alive in a vegetative state than to simply let them die. Keeping her alive would've been just selfish... Once a person is a vegetable, they're a vegetable forever... I'd rather let my own mother die before seeing her a vegetable
ChaosDevil27 - April 1, 2005 12:10 AM (GMT)
Its true, keeping her alive is selfish......plus if you were were the husband or parent, it would pain you to see her every day half alive, unable to think or anything.......her dying brought her peace now.
Míxtil_<3_fish! - April 1, 2005 06:58 PM (GMT)
i think the monk who announced here death was camp.

What?
Míxtil_<3_fish! - April 2, 2005 09:39 AM (GMT)
on the radio, a american monk announced her death. he sounded very camp. i found it funny, because being a monk doesn't sound like a job for a camp person.
Axem Titanium - April 7, 2005 02:06 AM (GMT)
Míxtil_<3_fish! - April 7, 2005 09:38 AM (GMT)
somone who is camp is a man who acts in a way that conforms to the steryotype of gay men, but may or may not be gay.
