I have a avie complaint. Everytime I try to upload a avie I wanna use it keeps blaring a (I am not allowed to put that file type) on thier. Its getting a little annoying and I never know what avies I can put up or not.

It needs to be a .bmp, .gif, or .png file if I'm not mstaken.
EDIT: Or, it is too big. I think the maximum is 100x100.

I never get size (also says if you notice that they will resize it for you). It just seems like every time i upload a avie it keeps giving a fire type error saying I am not allowed to have that type.

It might have to be saved as one of those types.

most of the pics have been .png and .bmp

Yeah, there's an error with invisionfree. When they say .png files are allowed, they actually mean .png files are "not allowed so don't try or you'll get really frustrated".

The solution is to host it on another site such as Photobucket, and just have your avatar link to that other site. 'tis what I did with my avatar; Invision wouldn't take it even though it was a GIF.

yeah most of the time I seem to have to use paint to change filetypes for them.
