Title: Neighborhood Drama

Trace Stratus - April 18, 2005 11:49 PM (GMT)
On Friday, our neighbor from behind our house comes to our door. He asks if he can see our backyard because his dogs dug a hole to our yard and might of ran in. So, we go to the back and what do we see. A small, white dog laying on it's side with a large chunk of meat of its side.

In other words, the dog came in our yard and my dog being as protective as he is killed it in one bite. The guy takes the dog and doesn't cause a fuss BUT the next day the wife comes and screams the hell at us in our own house demanding we pay for a new dog or kill our own.

It takes one hour but finally she leaves, we don't have to kill our dog or pay for a new one but we cement the back fence to make sure no dogs can get in either ones yard. This should be resolved but no. Every time one of us step outside one of them is staring at us through there window watching to see what were doing. This unerves my sister who lays outside reading.

What do guys think?

wow that is disturbing and the wife is stupid. It's their fault

Trace Stratus - April 19, 2005 12:39 AM (GMT)
That's what my family thinks think.

Their dog dug the hole, there dog went on to our property, and our dog(a Siberean Husky) did what he felt needed to be done.

Your dog just did self defense dog style, thats all. I see no reason for your family to be in trouble, it should be the neighbors fault for not watching their dog.

Durendal - April 19, 2005 01:15 PM (GMT)
Yeah, you shoulda just told her to screw off and told her its her own fault. A Siberian Husky should probably be watched a little better though.

Glad you all agree with me. ^^

As for Asta, he's pretty well tamed.(growing up in Pampered Pet's and all.)

lol, do you know how much trouble that would cause! XD

Walking him around is hard enough and when he finds a way out he always runs for hours then comes back to be put back in, us not knowing he ran out. :P

I was just thinking it might take care of your neighbors.

Trace Stratus - April 20, 2005 11:21 PM (GMT)

Agh, I met a Jack Russell Terrier once. Those things are really aggressive, don't fool around with them or anything. I don't know much about dogs (mines some terrier mutt, we've got no clue what she's mixed with) but I'm good with them-but that thing was actually a little frightening.

As for their dog, I'm guessing it was a little one? I can't stand little doggies, they act really aggressive and tough, and really get on my nerves. There's this little poodle next door who used to spend every day barking at nothing (our neighbors would keep him outside all the time). Now he's let out on a less loose schedule, so he's bearable to live next to.

Yep, it was a small one. Half of my neighborhood either has small dogs or big dogs as pets. :P
