Title: Question about House Alignment
Description: You know your a newbie if...

Ok, this might sound like such a newbie question, but I want to know. I know in order to become aligned to a specific country, a character has to be at least leve 3 unpromoted. However, I have a couple of questions about this.
1. If you have more than one character, can each character join a different house?
2. Is there such things as house spies? Like, a character joins one house, then joins another as a spy to relay information back to his or her original house?
3. If a character does not join a house, could he or she join into one of the war campaigns as a neutral unit, as either a hired sword or otherwise?
I know these may sound like rather trivial questions, but I would really like to know. Thank you for your time.

You cannot join two houses.
If you are not in a house, yes you can be a mercenary.

i spose you could be a spy if you wanted to...

K, thanks guys. Well, at least that puts an end to my question of which house I plan to join up with. So far East Lycia has helped me quite a few times, and considering that was one of the two houses I was leaning toward... well, when I finally get to level 3, I hope you guys will have me. ^_^

Darn, choo scould join WEST Lycia, its much better, and we have more people, so that mean more money for choo!
Ray - May 19, 2005 01:09 AM (GMT)
No, it doesnt mean more money.
You get the same payday in any country.
Dragon_Tam3r - May 19, 2005 01:10 AM (GMT)
Yeah well, we have more members then choo, now what!:P
Ray - May 19, 2005 01:11 AM (GMT)
True, but that means his say wont be worth very much.
Dragon_Tam3r - May 19, 2005 01:15 AM (GMT)
Choo are wrong, that means his say will be able to stir more people
Ray - May 19, 2005 01:20 AM (GMT)
But more people to say no.
Both Lycian countries are good, let him decide.
Dragon_Tam3r - May 19, 2005 01:23 AM (GMT)
Also more people to say yes...
You know whats funny, i bet hes going to end up going nab or something:P
Fifth Fang - May 19, 2005 03:03 AM (GMT)
just a correction, not the same pay day in every country.
lknight2001 - May 19, 2005 03:18 AM (GMT)
Well, whatever the case, leveling up to 3 takes a lot longer than one would think... well, unless this was dnd, in which it could take months to level once, and thats if you don't become troll fodder... I hate trolls... annoying little *ahem* sorry.
Anyway, back to leveling I go. Talking about houses and alliegance is a rather moot point until i'm actually eligable.
Dragon_Tam3r - May 19, 2005 12:39 PM (GMT)
Okay, if choo go to find a judge, under arena, and post in my topic, i'll be sure to judge for choo :)

1) Nope. Otherwise, you'd know other countries' stratagies and such, which could be unfair. Plus, you may have to fight your own characters in war, which wouldn't be fun.
2) Nope. Well, it may be possible, but can you say "kicked out"? No joining more than one house, like Ray said. Plus, if you did do such a thing as "spying", the country you were spying on would go against you, plus their allies, and.... it would get ugly. Trust me.
3) Sure. That's what Esgal and Fox are doing, right?
And, when you're at level 3, if you need more convincing, click the banner in my sig.
Kyrillos - May 19, 2005 07:54 PM (GMT)
yeah. Me and Esgal are TRUE mercs.

Heh?What's wrong? As far as I know, there are no other neutral fighters above level 3.
Edit:Like wtf mate(Fox)? Why you have a EL banner in your sig?
Dragon_Tam3r - May 20, 2005 09:25 PM (GMT)
