I'm going to the beach tomorrow untill Monday. On Tuesday I start a class at a college on Ethics, and I will probably be less active from then untill the class ends at the beginning of August.

Yes, that is a long time.

Trace Stratus - July 2, 2005 07:40 PM (GMT)

Karn - July 4, 2005 09:19 PM (GMT)
Well, I'm back from the beach now. My class starts tomorrow, and my activity depends on how hard it will turn out to be.

Trace Stratus - July 4, 2005 11:12 PM (GMT)
I hope it goes well. Is this one of those special class you sign up for or have to achieve a certain grade point average or earn an amount of credits for?

Karn - July 4, 2005 11:18 PM (GMT)
It's a college class, but you aren't allowed to take a college class here though, unless you have a GPA of 3.3 or higher I think. I have a 4.1 or so.

Trace Stratus - July 4, 2005 11:21 PM (GMT)
I guess it's different where you live. I have college prep class and can take college courses also if I have opennings in my scheduel.(I won't until I'm a senior!><) I don't remember my GPA because I keep forgetting to look.><

As I've told you before, the highest your GPA can be is 4.0. How the hell do you get 4.1?

Trace Stratus - July 5, 2005 04:32 PM (GMT)
My friend gathered enough GPA points to graduate even though he wa sonly a softmore. Reason why is that had "Computer Desings" twice on his scheduel and the points you get from that class are already high. It's such a popular class at my school and he got it twice because he's friends with the teacher and used to date his daughter. :P

So, I guess Karn got some class that boosted up a bit?

The highest your GPA could technically get is a 5, if you took all AP classes (I think) but since it's impossible for a school to have enough AP classes to take to graduate, that isn't really possible. Basically, Honors, high honors, and AP (if you take and pass the AP exam for the course) add on extra GPA points along with whatever you get as a grade. I believe you get a 5, in terms of points for an individual class, if you get an A in an AP class and pass the AP test.

I take lots of honors/high honors stuff, so I have like a 4.3 right now (I'm going into juniour year in high school). Next year I have 3 AP classes, so if I do well I'll probably have a high one.

Trace, as far as I know, you don't gather GPA to graduate, you gather credits. If you get like, 115 or so (here) you can graduate. I know some kids do normal and summer school so they can get tons of classes done and meet all their requirements for graduation and stuff. But one class shouldn't give you enough to graduate two years early. I guess you probably have to have a GPA (which is an average'd number) above some set amount, but I don't know what that is (2, 1?).

Like Bucket said, I took Honors classes. Sadly at my school the only AP class you can possibly take by sophomore year is a math class, which is not my forte. I will be in AP classes next year though. (I'm going to be a junior.)

Wrong.

I achieved a 4.5 in my school first semester. AP and Honors Classes have special, wher, if you get a B, it's a A, so if you get a A, it's a A++. Counts extra becase your taking a higher level course.

Trace Stratus - July 6, 2005 12:52 AM (GMT)
I ment creidts, you don't ahve to give me a speech about it. <_<

I almost made it into honors but I'm to lazy to study and all so I'm not in it evne though i get better grades than most people in all my classes.
