I've recently fell in love with a girl in 6th grade. I'm in 7th grade and I'm not sure this is right. I've already admitted it to her on the bus since we were already friends. She doesn't think it's right either and she likes me too. Should I wait two years and hook up with her then since were going to the same high school?

Umm, asking for advice online about relationships from a bunch of other kids your age might not be the best idea. We don't know you that well, and we don't know your potential girlfriend at all. It's ludicrous for us all to pretend that we can give advice.

The only advice I think we can just in general is don't take it too far, since you've got a long life left to live. But if you're a fairly unemotional person, that wouldn't be a problem, I assume.

Look... I think you're simply too young for this. For example... look at me. I'm sixteen, and have never had a boyfriend. Do I care? No. Having a relationship too early is simply asking for heartbreak, as most cannot decipher the difference between love, lust, or perhaps even a close friendship until the other crosses the line.

It's simply not worth getting your heart set into if you're not even looking for a potential life partner. Isn't that what dating is all about? In my opinion, if one is to dedicate their heart and soul for another, then they'd best find a partner they can keep those feelings with for the rest of their lives. If that's not what you're looking for, then what's the point? Are you going to use her as property? To say, "Look, I've got a girlfriend!"?

I may not know all the details, but I've seen enough people go through heartbreak to discourage you from garnering a relationship doomed to it. Most relationships started that early die hard...
