Title: Look at this article...

Mmm, I come inside today, and BAM, this title hits me:
Province ranked third toughest place to live in Canada
So, obviously, I read it. Not all of it, but still. Here's the main points I got out of it:
--> "Only Nunavut and Quebec, with its large tracts of northern arctic territory, ranked higher, according to the latest study by Environment Canada's senior climatologist David Phillips."
--> "He says the island of Newfoundland has a mostly marine climate, while Labrador's weather is more continental -- giving the province high points for both winter weather and marine extremes that include high winds."
--> "... some of the titles held by Newfoundland and Labrador in Phillips' weather study. Among them:
-- Least sunny province: An average of 1,563 hours of sunshine year-round compared to 2,206 hours enjoyed in Canada's sunniest province, Saskatchewan...
-- Most wet days annually: With an average of 198 millimetres, ...
-- Windiest winters: The highest average hourly wind speed from December to February was 21.09 kilometres per hour in Newfoundland and Labrador. ...
-- Most wet days during the warmer months: Sixty-three centimetres from May to August. ...
-- Deepest snows by Jan. 31: An average of 62 centimetres in Newfoundland and Labrador. ...
-- Snowiest spring: The province averaged 141 cm of the white stuff in March, April and May. ...
-- Most heavy snowfalls: Averaging 13 days of snowfalls above 10 centimetres each year, ..."
It also mentions this website, which I'll be checking shortly: www.on.ec.gc.ca/weather/winners/intro-e.html
Why I posted this, I unno. Just seemed interesting, I guess. -_-

It's really weird, cause, where I live, we get worse weather than a place only 10 minutes away from us. Like, at 7 or so (an hour ago), it was all sunny up in town, and all dark and gray and horrible here...

..agin, your lucky. i the city we have heat and downpour. nothing else. no sun, no drizzle.

Fah. Weather. I have no need.
Actually, I like colder weather, here is fairly mild place. I live in the Suburbian wastelands of New Jersey, where soccer moms and rabid tiny animals roam.
So do you consider it to be a really horrible place, or do you like the weather, whether (HAHA) or not some paper says it's the third worst place in the world Canada?
I want to live in Alaska or Antartica. Thus, I shall be a scientifical person and travel to Antartica on some wild expedition, studying marine life mayhaps like I have?

I love the weather. I guess I've "adapted" to it, as well, so, if I went anywhere else I'd probably freak out...

Thus it's only difficult for n00bish snow haters without warm coats.

Yes, I saw that yesterday morning too, but they are only basing everything they describe on the weather. I'm surprised that they ranked it so low, because many people who would come here for their first time while living in a place like Toronoto all of their life would probably find this place beautiful.
