Any arowana intro for newbies?

There're red. green. pearl. silver aro.
I recommend u to keep silver or pearl as a start. Cos cheap.

Gold have.. Gold and red consider ex. type... Green still ok, $90 to $100 for a young one... Me until now never buy before... Cos too ex liao... :P Black got also, nothing special. Look just like silver... just that it tail and fins a bit black-dark blue colour lor... Not my type also...

Anyway pearl is most recommended for aros newbies. Can get a young one at $25 - $30 only... ;) Got keep one before a few years ago. Grow until quite big then mati liao... :P Will try to post it pics when i free... :lol:

According to expert (not me lah) to keep a fully-grown aro, need at least a 4x2x2ft tank.
Need to train them when they young. My previous pearl aro eat dried shimps, pellets. Force the aro to take these food lor.. Stave them until they cannot tahan then no choice they will take. Once a while feed live feeder can liao... ;) and blood worms is the best, for small young aro.

then maybe they not hungry ah..haha.. they can survive for many weeks right even they don eat..

Haha? It's true. 4x2x2ft is enough for an adult aro to swin liao.
But if u can affort bigger tank than that, then go for it lor... ;)
