Hi Jewel,
do you know of this particular model from Fuji?

jewel - July 26, 2004 11:36 AM (GMT)
hmm, actually, i dun. new digital cam? thinking of buying?

i got a gd website for digital camera comparisons to help you decide wat's best:

www.dpreview.com

can compare side by side although price you'll have to check with cathay photo (peninsula plaza, marina square), or alan photo (sim lim) which are the 2 most popular camera shops in town. you can get cameras much cheaper here than in harvey norman etc....my camera cost me more than $100 less at these places.

Bro, looking for good DC??

I recommend the Panasonic Lumix with 12x optical zoom.

Costs ard 1K, it's quite a solid camera.

Most people will not get Fuji cameras lah, try to get Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus if u want to invest in a good camera. ;)

I'm sure you want it for ur Bettas right??

then look for one with image stabilisation(the Panasonic one is gd) and also a good macro range.

dinosor - July 27, 2004 05:29 AM (GMT)

If you looking for value for money then I highly recomended you get a Canon or Olumpus
Depending on your budget, there are many out there for you.

Your camera ISO setting plus the shutter speed together can usually take picture of even a bullet flying.
I think that kind of speed is more than enough to freeze any action.
Not forgetting you can also use your flash

I have being using the Olumpus 2000 for 5 years and Canon G1 for 3 years and I have thousand of wonderful pictures.
So with the more powerful features and newer digital cameras of today I think you can have even better pictures than me.
