my luohan's got this growth on its tail.
pretty sluggish, staying put at the bottom of the tank when no one's around, but still active enough to try to bite you when you get near.

got a lot of medicine like special disease away left, with no expiry date! wat medicine should i get?

if possible, maybe you can try to peel the thing away.

if not, i suggest using salt first and see what happens.

Super disease away is actually potassium permanganate which will stain your tank and kill your beneficial bacteria in the long run.

still catching her out and peel the growth away followed by rubbing some salt or methylene blue on her will be the best choice if you dare to do it...

my mom trapped my fish in the net.
i tried to scrap the growth off lightly with a spoon. hope i didn't hurt her.
it didn't come off though, and i sprinkled some salt onto the growth, then proceeded to rub salt directly onto the growth.
was rewarded promptly with a huge splash of water right to the face. maybe it really stung her, ya?

the thing is still there.

maybe i wait and see if it's still there tmr...or if there's any improvement.
any other suggestions?

i didnt add any medicine in the end, just change water and add salt...she seems better now...

not feeding much coz i dun want to dirty the water. she doesnt eat much in any case, picky eater...
