basically, u need at least a 2feet tank .. if better, 3feet and above..
a good filteration is need also ( can ask the petshop for more advice on the filter that they have)
breeding them , if u have the time and a lot of space u might wan to do so.. but then is not encourage . as when they grow big , u will have a hard time seprating them..

Flowerhorn are not like guppies or any other fishes. Although they breed easily, they can be pretty hard to handle when the babies grow. I think learning how to rear them is the priority for you. They are very temperamental creatures.
ANyway, welcome!! :)

1) Have yr tank ready.
2) Have soem additional coral chips.( they like hard water)
3) Regular water changes.(they are big eaters, thus water has to changed regularly to maintain cleaniness)

tht's alll u need to know for the time. They are easy to rear. not much hassle

Hello!!

Some pointers:

the bigger the tank, the better for the fish

have a good filteration. A bubble or corner filter is not enough as they grow real big. Try to use a canister filter or an overhead filter. change water frequently.

feeding is easy as they eat most things.

have some coral chips to buffer the pH level of the tank.

no tankmates for them as they are aggressive by nature.

no plants, as they usually tear up the plants.

enjoy this hobby!!

btw, where are you from??
