[COLOR=red]Hi,
My Flowerhorn (9inch) usually crashs the aquarium glasses while someone near comes .The crashes sometimes very hard but nothing happend like last night.
Everything was normal before, FB tried to crash the glass (comes to my hand)and had a bad crash then likely falling crash also to the rocks. After that he had likely loose his equilibrium , but no injury outside. In the mornin he is better but steel not much good ,it looks like he loose 50% of controlling his body, when I closed the filter his swimming better.
Everything in the aquarium is normal(degree, oxigen, level ph,nitrit). I can't bleave it .Is it a normal accident a fish can made. Does it happened to anones fish something like that what can I do,is he be okey ,doyou think,
please help.THANKS undefined

is the fish now in a upside down position?
or lying down with a Curve shape or rather a U shape when you look at the body?

Lower the water level and if your filtration is strong, change to a bubble type and observe for a day.
Flowerhorns are very temperamental animals. Do not agitate them for no reason. WHen it crash against the glass, it can have severe implications, such as spasm and the breaking of bones. If yr fish is ok by the time you see this msg, it is due to shock that he is not swimming properly. Do not add any medicine at this time, unless if it has got bad external injury.

Hi , Thankyou for advices. My flowerhorn is better now,he is not lying down to the front or curvey shape. He is swimming slowly and eating food , I mean his behavours is slow but good, while the filter is closed. So,his filter is closed now ,because when I open it ,he is loosing his balance(somersault).
King Almond ,I think you are right ,he had a shock. And I never gone a make him angry from now on.Yesterday ,a fish seller gave me an anthibiotic for internal disease he said.I put it to his water. What do you think should I change the 30% water and the degree of the aquarium is 30, should I decrease it.
Thanks, nice days.
:D

Hi again,I want to take your advises about one more unit.
I bought a new aquarium ; 670L ,it will come in a few days. Now FH is alone in 200L tank.I have also other fishes in an other tank; 2 pengasus 25-30cm,9 blood parrots 5-6cm ,3 silver sharks 5-7cm,2 frontoza 6-7cm,1 ahli 5 cm. I'm thinking to move FH to this new tank with these fish mates.I know that ,the F.HORNS are agressive and not much suitable with mates ,but if the aquarium is 670L, I think its big , it could be possible maybe  .What do you think?

if it is a bare tank , i doubt so..
i seen b4 , their owner place rock , whatsoever in the tank.. then they have their own terrority..
but then, i still don knoe how they do it.haha..
once in a while they will still chase around..
how big is your flowerhorn?
i dun think all the fish can mix expect blood parrot.. but is advise not to keep together.

Hi,
No, its not bare ;enough rocks but few plants(only one javascript:emoticon(':D')).My flowerhorn is about 10 inc.I don't know his age.(Does anyone know how can I understand his age?)
Blood parents is about 2,5 inc.Normally,my FB hurts them but I thougt if the tank is large enough, they an be together javascript:emoticon(':('). Because I'm sorry for he is living alone. On the other hand FB is in 200L tank(it small to him,670L tank will be better to him.Nice daysjavascript:emoticon(':D')

The tank is big enuff to house the flowerhorn. ALthough flowerhorn are not known to be community friendly, there are cases where it is able to live with other fishes, given the big space. Perhaps, you it could do good benefit if you let the fish rest by itself for 2 weeks at least befoe transferring him.

Good to hear your fish is fine!

Thanks for your advises.I'm not going to take him to other thank before 2 weeks. As you said ,his stress must be gone before transfering a new tank also with new mates, I think.
Now he is better ,swimming slowly and eating food as well. His balance is getting better day and day ,I think.I started to adding his food vitamin drops.I decrease his temprature from 30 degrees to 28 and I put an external filter to himto the aquarium. What is the degree you stable to your flowerhorns?
Nice days

28 - 30 degrees would be nice and comfortable for him. =)
