Title: new guy from the UK

Oh Danny Boy - April 25, 2005 04:45 PM (GMT)
hi guys!!

ive just joined the forum and wanted to say hello to you all.. my name is dan and im in london in the UK, ive just been on a mammouth journey across the country to collect a pair of flowerhorns (1male and 1 female {i hope}) so keep an eye out for me as i have a few questions for you guys already!..

i have 15 tanks in my dedicated fish room and enjoy breeding fish to pay for the upkeep of them all... sure helps keep the cost down. my other fish are plenty but some of my favorites include:

6 red oscars in a breeding program
2 red spotted severums
2 uaruu
a pair of geophagus daemons
a small betta splenden breeding program which is doing pretty well
and a polypturus delzeil

the rest are bread and butter community stuff

nice to meet ya!
Dan

Issit hard to find FH in UK.In UK do you have any Fh for sale?Is there any market there? B) B)

Oh Danny Boy - May 20, 2005 06:11 PM (GMT)
hi jester there are places selling flowerhorn here but ive not seen them very often i travelled about 200 miles to collect mine in person. people are breeding them here and they are available in the london area and ive seen some for sale further north. they are definatly coming across europe though with some uk keepers bringing in expensive examples. but they seem to be relativly cheap here selling for £10 a fish and maybe £80 for a 10" breeding pair.
