anyway i just ordered a 2nd hand 3 ft tank from a guy in aro for $20. will be setting it up in jurong east at my parents place. this will be the new temporary stadium for my lastest young striker signing. will need to cycle the tank first b4 bring ing him over to the new home, possibly in one mth time.

i didnt ask my uncle but i know even he will not let me tong pang there.

i think in jurong, i will use my 3ft tank to house one aro and his buddies.

one 2 ft tank for cories and small fishes

maybe get another 3 ft tank for my 2 other luohans. now head bigger since putting them side by side.

BUT MY RED FEMALE passed away this morning after it kana attacked by theother male luohan. now left with 2 luohans, 2 parrots, 1 aro and some small fishes an d many feeders...hehehehheheh

last time i managed to put the male and female in one 4 ft tank w/o any divider. occasionally got some minor fights. since i bought the aro, i transferred the other male luohan to the 4ft tank below and used one divider only. whose knows the male go gila n whack the female one until so jia lat.

that's pretty sad.
but after 1 month how u going to bring back the 3feet again..

i will be there for a few mths. afterthat either sell my 3ft tank or 4ft tanks lor. transporting 3 ft tank is quite easy so that is y i decide to get one temp

TANK there already. this weekend will be cleaning tank and cycling it for around 2 weeks. target to shift there around 1st May.

then after 1 month got shift back or put there?

will stay there for about half a year. my luohans will be still in my house so got to feed both sides unless i get another tank

wah so long.. then u work must work up more earlier liao ar? .. haha.. then bbq can put outside yr bishan home.. hahaha~~ kidding kidding.. :joke:

i've been thinking very hard how to move my fish
coz i'm moving in a few months' time.
how to make the journey less stressful for the fish u know...

take out yr fish and put in the plastic bag. inside the plastic bag put easy life.. reduce stress.. haha.. really hor.. don think i talking nonsense..haha..then don 7am go move house 12am then put the fish in the tank.. make it as fast as possible.. maybe bring some age water there..

as for me it is quite simple cos i bought a second hand 3 ft tank. the move is only temp. u would have a bigger problem if u r relocating to a new home cos u will not have much chance to cycle ur tank.

some solutions
1. buy another tank at new house. cycle tank then shift fish over.
2. shift tank over first and cycle tank. temp house fish in a small tank or tong pang at someone place.

to reduce stress, it would be good if u could use ur old tank water. anyway luohan is more hardy so it can adapt to the new water condition w/o much problem.

i'll still be in the bt btk area :)

probably get those large plastic bags the fish shops have to transporting fishes. ekks, dunno how to catch my naughty fish

i'll probably upgrade and get a bigger tank for my fish then.
will think of how to transport old water over as well. prob make it 50% newater (literally!) and 50% old tank water? see if its possible lor...

tis morning, when we switch on the lights, it got so scared it banged into the filter, threw the top portion of the filter where the water comes out, completely out of position, and the water spewed out into my living room!

my living room had a huge pool of fish water!
