so discus hor, how come a lot of ppl using those sponge type of filter when keeping discus ?u knoe wht am i talking/
Saturos - March 25, 2004 12:46 PM (GMT)
??
what did u want to use then?
my guess is because discus normal enviroment is near riverside with light current, mebbe the other type of filters creates too much current for the discu sto tahan.
that is all.

yes dino u r rite! pp use those bio sponge filter cos it does not create much turbulence. if u use those overhead or powerhead type, the current created will stressed the discus. discus as u know once stressed, will turn black as charcoal and hold AGM in one corner. :D
saturos,
if u r keen in discus, u can always pop by my uncle fish shop along east coast road beside the famous katong laska. he specialises in discus. price wise also i find relatively cheap compared to other shops.
