Department of International Magical Cooperation Welcome to the home of the out-of-character chat. Inside, you can play games and get to know other users without spamming--though it doesn't increase your post count. We also have a guest-friendly plug board. Just make sure you read the rules!

Little Hangleton A small town surrounded by lush hills and breathtaking countryside, Little Hangleton is populated almost entirely by muggles. It is a good spot to just get away from your everyday life.

Godric's Hollow Though a muggle dwelling, Godric's Hollow has been the home of several wizarding families and is still occupied by quite a few magical beings. While there are not many homes--the civilization gives way to countryside--there is also a graveyard, a pub, and a post office toward the center of the village.

Diagon Alley A cobblestoned street lined with every wizarding shop you can imagine. Just months ago, the atmosphere was merry and light. Now, with the Dark Lord looming over all the wizarding world, the fine line between Knockturn and Diagon Alley has been crossed completely. Dark art establishments are beginning to set up where other shops have gone out of business. Even the most happy places are becoming darker everyday.

Grounds Hogwarts castle is located atop a cliff overlooking a lake. The lake is to the south of the castle and the front doors face generally to the west. There is a small underground inlet, it's entrance covered with hanging ivy, that leads to a stony beach below the castle at the base of the cliff. From here, a path leads up to the front door of the castle. A road runs around the lake to the village of Hogsmeade, where the railway station is located.

Dungeons Underneath the castle, the dungeons and sub-levels are dank and for the most part dingy. All potions classes are held in the dungeons.

Hogsmeade Founded around the same time as Hogwarts, Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain. It is a picturesque village full of thatched cottages and shops.
Hogsmeade is off-limits to first and second years and any students without permission from their guardians. If any students are found to be at Hogsmeade when it is not the designated weekend, punishment will be severe and swift.
