Okay..
First thing you need to do is a very deep conditioning treatment. I dont know what kind of beauty supply stores you have in your area but RUSK works the best. After you shower, slab on the conditioner and put a shower cap over your head, make sure its nice and tight. Then put your blowdryer on medium heat and go over your head for about 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
(this is the home way) lol
Use a wide tooth comb ALWAYS when you brush your hair when its wet, it avoids breakage on your hairline.
For the frizzies now, before your hair dries use RUSK Str8 or IMPULSE Straightenr by Paul Mitchell (they may not have it in your area yet) right on your scalp.

These are all pre-treatments that will make your hair less frizzy. All hair types are different, but try these when you have your hair back and see which one works for you the best.
Got-2-Be Hair Wax
Nolita Hair Wax
"Very Sexy" Straightening Serum and Serum Spray

Okay girl I hope this helps :)
If you have any other questions feel free to ask...I am a hairdresser heehee
