im slowly starting to keep up with the time zone. i came home from the philippines last thursday so i am a bit jetlagged.

how was the philippines?

ehh not so lucky!! it was so windy yesterday! it wasnt as bad today,
but yesterday a tree fell on someone's car outside my school.

i have my HS entrance exam on saturday :blink:

soph, good luck with your entrance exam! i remember when i had to take that.

the philippines was fun! when we first got there it was humid and dry so right when we exitted the airport, we were sweating like there was no tomorrow. and it was MIDNIGHT. you dont sweat at ALL in cali...maybe only in the summer, but its not like everyday. anyways, for the most part we were in the city with alot of traffic and stuff.

i went shopping...ALOT! Everything's cheap there! $300 worth of shopping! 50 pesos there is $1 here. 100 pesos is $2 here. and 1000 pesos there is $20 here. and everything is soooo small there. like I'm a Medium here, so when I wanted to buy shirts, I had to get Large there. Then their regular burgers was like mickey d's kid burger! i was laughing right after i ate it cuz i was full. there's sooo many malls! i went to at least 4 or 5 malls there. one of those malls i went to it was really one big mall but 3 different malls connected to one another.

Text messages are cheap there too. People text there 24/7. and they're fast as it too! but dude! there's two channels on tv where they promote textmates which is kinda stupid and dangerous. it's endless scrolling of "who wants to be my textmate? 16-19 males only! text me at :(insert number)." yeh it was really stupid. like why dont you go out and meet people then?

my dad's hs reunion was one of the main purposes we went and was really excited for. his reunion was in a whole other part of the country. it was in a different province. we were in an island...called boracay. dude! it was soooooooo nice! the sand is powdered white and the water is soooooo blue. there's three parts to that island. station 1, 2, and 3. we were in station 1 which is the most expensive part of the island. less crowded too which is good. our hotel was reserved for everyone in the reunion. my parents stayed in the sitios, which are the hotel's suites. walking distance it was about 5 minutes away. not really a long walk but you're walking in an alley in the province. kinda scary lol. anyways, the suites were like a whole another world too! it was 4 rooms, but they were like cottages! 2 to 3 floors of it man! then there was a bar, pool, and two cabanas! real niiice!

on the main land though, my parents took us on a personal tour. a tour of their old neighborhoods and houses they grew up in. the churches they went to. the college my mom went to. and the high school and college my dad went to. the high school and college campuses for my dad were the same thing. that's how it is the in the philippines. each school is k-college, which is cool. haha oh yeah! my dad gets excited easily and he has a really loud hoarse voice so it was funny when were drving around his college, he was like "YOU SEE THAT LITTLE THEATER THERE!? THAT'S WHERE YOUR MOM AND I HAD OUR FIRST DATE!" and my mom goes, "yeh, the date where i didn't know it was a date!" muahahah! and in the philippines, your parents make you bring your maid to go with you if you're with your friends, so it was my mom, my dad and my mom's maid on that date. lol.

ill have pictures up on myspace soon. maybe even the island i went to as my siggy!

i have exams this weeks and next week i have my relgion exam yesterdayy and my enlsih 1 todayy @ 12 and french 2morrow i get monday off cuz i have lunch and tuesdayy i have my bbt exam. wed is a p.a. dayy no school =) and thurs is half dayy to c ur exam marks and friday is begining of sem. 2

i've been to vietnam and hong kong when i was 2 years old and i'm gonig away for the whole month of march to vietnam and mayb tailand and philpines

trust me after u had snow u wouldn't want it anymore it looks nice but when it starts to snow A LOT u will hate it

mids terms 4 me was just getting a report card for half the semester
and i'm in the middle of exam's right now semester two starts on fridayy tho

i took midterms about 2 or 3 wks ago.im getting my report card 2mar

oh man i gotta take my report card when it comes
just in case so i see it before my mom lol

i got my report card last friday

i always take mine and tell my mom the good grades
and she doesnt see the thing or if i get a bad grade and they
see the report card for me i go:

lol you know what i used to!? i would take the mail key and tell my parents i'll get the mail from now on. grades usually came two weeks after the quarter. so those two weeks i would get it. when i got my grades, i hid them! and then i would stop getting the mail. our mailbox was at the neighborhood corner not in front of our house so it was easy to hide it!

same! math is definitely my worst subject. this year we went straight from normal
person math to algebra without taking pre algebra or getting prepared at all for it
so a lot of people are failing =[ plus, my math teacher totally s me.

our midterms and report cards are givin to us in first period class they r never sent home unless we moved schools

um my math teacher is THE WORST and i have it 8th period
so my class is soo redic. and rowdy they dont shutup so i dont
learn in a psycotic enviorment lmaooo
