Back agian, Just throwing around ideas here, think im gonna build up a armored company *traitor style* But with a german WWII feel. over this year. around 10,000 pts for primary use im apoc games.

Gonna get some brass etching from fw, but i plan on useing plastic kits.

I plan on useing several normal ig tank but i really want them to look different from standard tanks.

Got a unassembled MACHARIUS VANQUISHER from a dude down on his luck for 100$ Figured ied use it as a command tank, The model looks great. Will have pics of it monday, and will try to update progress regularly.

Suggestions?

It would really be helpful if you had first pics already of either painted models or conversions. I'm sure then we could come up with suggestions

Frak IG tanks and use German WW2 Armour nothing would look better in a WW2 German themed army then German Panzers. I'd say you go with the Tamyia Tanks they look good and you can get radio control kits for'em.

Also, you might consider using the turret and sponsons on the Leman Russ to create a very lovely MkIIIc Predator Destructor. To get the rounded MkIId Predator Annihilator turret, just use the current Mk IVb turret and some foamboard and simply smoothen the sides with sandpaper. :thumb:

Im including my inf. in the pic, as i havent dome almost anything with the tanks yet. i have 5 basilisk's but im going to redo them to fit with the army theme. The big tank is not done yet i need to buy a dremmel to sand down the bottom so it fits correctly. But i was thinking themeing the normal tank like it *the tread not being the full length of the tank*

CC on the inf plz im thinking about doing all of the troops in this army like the one pictured here.

Marshall_Brant; thx for the idea but im going for someone seeing it know its a 40k army, im looking into finding a similar scale plastic german tank modles and mixing and matching in parts.

Loki cool idea there to, might use it but im going with mostly ig baesed tanks here.

Well here's some of my wip.

So i think i figured how im gonna ge tthe look i want.

Gonna use a basilisk chassie use plastic card skirts to slightly raise the armored top and take the normal lr turrent. make it look similar to the king tiger german tank.

Also plan on makeing laser destroyers with a hull mounted gun similir to a stug tank. agian basilisk chassie rather than the lr chassie to give the track a lower profile. ill post pics when i buy what i need to start it.

THen ill use the guns for feild arty.
