So being the fool I am, I decided to sign up for a four thousand point tournament happening in about a month. At this point I'm not even sure if I'll be able to go, but eh - I should be able to make it, assuming I don't sleep the night before. At all. :lol:
Anyway. The majority of the guys at this tournament are sort of the hard-baller 40kers of the city, which explains the amount of obliterators and ordnance in this list; thanks to BC for the Basilisks, as I completely forgot I've got the parts to convert up a trio of them lying about on my desk.
So, any thoughts and the like for this? The seperate formations have been put into their own sections for your ease. How I intend to use each formation - for the most part, each will be dedicated to its roll - will be right next to the name of the formation. Ignore fluff for the moment here (past the fact that other than characters, -everything- in the army is in multiples of three. Including aspiring-like models!), as the fluff for all of this will, some day, get typed up. ...But that's some day far away, chances are.
I've rambled enough! Getting back to the point, I've got 49 more points to mess around with; I can safely say that they'll either be spent on bringing the six man havoc squad up to nine men, and leaving me four points under; or tossing combi-weapons to half of my terminators, and leaving me...well, four points under. The reason for the additional marines in the havoc squad is so they die slower; but it seems to me a pointless gesture, as I've got so many heavy weapons in this list that squad dropping won't reduce me that much. The termies, I think will need it more.
Anyway. Any comments and suggestions, feel free to toss them here! ...Please. Until I get some practice with this list (which I intend to do), I'm assuming that it's just going to get schooled five weeks from last saturday.
