Spanky69r - June 14, 2005 09:00 AM (GMT)
i reakon u guys should use the undernet server ?
black200 - June 14, 2005 09:09 AM (GMT)
from my 6 odd years experience, the oz.org server is much cleaner with less spamming and more reasonable operation of the server. Its also very reliable IMO. Its australia new zealand specific so why not i suppose :)
Spanky69r - June 14, 2005 10:15 AM (GMT)
oh yeah theres prob less netsplits
but its just that im on 3 other channels on undernet thats y i thought it was better haha
beerbaron - June 15, 2005 12:57 AM (GMT)

Muzza - June 15, 2005 04:42 AM (GMT)

Spanky69r - June 15, 2005 05:07 AM (GMT)
go to www.mirc.com and download it
and type /j altezzaclub
not sure what server theyre they gonna use
i think /server aussie.oz.org
but i think undernet server would be better heheh even tho u have net splits but thats F all :)
black200 - June 15, 2005 10:42 AM (GMT)
download MIRC.
When it starts up you need to add in details. So add in any crap you want
then in the box down the bottom type
/server aussie.oz.org
then it will connnect
THEN
/j #altezzaclub
and your in!

SenDog - December 22, 2005 07:20 AM (GMT)
Yeah, me too ... nobody in there and it appears the channel isn't registered?
I'm going to start up an #altezzaclub channel on au.austnet.org (or any Austnet server) if anybody wants to join ...

I'll usually be on the channel whenever I'm on the forum, but recently that hasn't coincided with anyone else...
Admin and mods, get a registered username on oz.org and then we can make sure you get channel op status when you login...
beerbaron - December 27, 2005 10:06 AM (GMT)

but no one else is
jasestu - January 5, 2006 05:24 AM (GMT)

jasestu - February 4, 2006 04:29 AM (GMT)
Since not everyone as an IRC client, how about some nice person in the admin team sets up this (
http://cgiirc.sourceforge.net/) web based IRC client for us? :)
greeneyes - February 4, 2006 08:01 AM (GMT)
Hmmm... I don't think it will be me, I can't tell a MIRC from a Merc!
In fact I don't have a (something I've forgotten the name of.. ) program..
Ah, I know, MSN!
Someone will know all about it!

Not a bad idea jase, i am moving our website (and subsequently the image and file-movie archive) to a new host today, so i will see if i can set this up on a subdomain.
jasestu - February 8, 2006 07:58 AM (GMT)
Cool, should be able to get some good discussions going from time to time... Will just have to make sure someone takes any really good chats and turns them into threads for those who weren't chatting at the time...
Thunderbird2 - March 16, 2006 04:18 AM (GMT)
Our new hosting setup includes a basic chat client built in. Joe has added the interface into the site, so give it a try:
